Honest Question

Can someone please explain to me (be honest) why people who move away from their own countries to find lower costs of living always end up raising the costs in the places they find by buying things up and offering services at the same rate as if they are still in the country they evaded due to costs? I am a long time traveler, and honestly I've become slightly cynical towards Canadians, and Americans who do this. The ending result is it's no longer an affordable place to live and the locals can't afford to live their anymore. So, explain this please to me no sugar coating it. I tally this up and greed and a lack of care for others at the moment. What else can it be? Is this really what things boil down to nowadays, screwing the next person in line? Change my mind because I see if as nothing else. Thanks.
P.S. I bet I will be waiting a long, long time for anyone to come clean on this ongoing issue.

Celiac safe: gluten free foods in grocery stores and restaurants

Hello!

I am traveling to Sayulita this week for a friend's bachelorette trip and am a little nervous about eating because I have Celiac Disease (very strict gluten free diet). I was trying to look up the label for Gluten Free in Mexico and I'm seeing that there isn't one officially. Basically, I'm looking for any advice on what is safe in grocery stores (outside of the obvious, I mean if I can only eat fruits and vegs whatever) and if there are any safe restaurants in the area!

Any experiences & advice would be much appreciated!

EDIT: thank you so much to everyone who responded! This is my first time out of the country since being diagnosed and flare ups are absolutely brutal on my body. Just trying to stay well (:

30 and up nightlife?

I’m planning a trip with my boy in mid-July and looking for some advice. I’d love to go out dancing etc but im trying to avoid the early 20s crowd. I’m 38 and hoping to meet more mature adults who still like to have fun, dance, and be social.

Any recommendations for bars or clubs?

Also, are there any good Facebook groups or events for singles to meet people while traveling?

Appreciate any tips 🙏

Staying in Sayulita, Golfing in PV. Transportation suggestions?

I'm staying in an Airbnb in Sayulita for a couple of weeks, but I've got a round of golf booked in PV. Does anyone have a trusted transport for 1-2 passengers to get from the clubs to the course and back? Hopefully, without breaking the bank. TIA
