Cap. Rebus hates the San'Shyuum
"Robbers of the world, having by their universal plunder exhausted other species, they rifle the deep. If the enemy be rich, they are rapacious; if he be poor, they lust for dominion; neither space nor land has been able to satisfy them. Alone among sentient beings they covet with equal eagerness poverty and riches. To robbery, slaughter, plunder, they give the lying name of empire and faith; they make a solitude of a glass desert and call it peace and unity." - Capt. Rebus on the San'Shyuum Prophets
>Whenever I consider the origin of this war and the necessities of our position, I have a sure confidence that this day, and this union of yours, will be the beginning of freedom to the whole of Britain. To all of us slavery is a thing unknown; there are no lands beyond us, and even the sea is not safe, menaced as we are by a Roman fleet. And thus in war and battle, in which the brave find glory, even the coward will find safety. Former contests, in which, with varying fortune, the Romans were resisted, still left in us a last hope of succour, inasmuch as being the most renowned nation of Britain, dwelling in the very heart of the country, and out of sight of the shores of the conquered, we could keep even our eyes unpolluted by the contagion of slavery.
>To us who dwell on the uttermost confines of the earth and of freedom, this remote sanctuary of Britain's glory has up to this time been a defence. Now, however, the furthest limits of Britain are thrown open, and the unknown always passes for the marvellous. But there are no tribes beyond us, nothing indeed but waves and rocks, and the yet more terrible Romans, from whose oppression escape is vainly sought by obedience and submission. Robbers of the world, having by their universal plunder exhausted the land, they rifle the deep. If the enemy be rich, they are rapacious; if he be poor, they lust for dominion; neither the east nor the west has been able to satisfy them. Alone among men they covet with equal eagerness poverty and riches. To robbery, slaughter, plunder, they give the lying name of empire; they make a solitude of a desert and call it peace. - Calgacus

Grunt Spec Ops use the UNSC Assault Rifle apparently?
We can see it in this panel from the Last Voyage graphic novel.
Like, no context. Just... huh.
The Unggoy love the BBC, so this could be canon.
(Terrible taste)
Noble Team on their day off
If Noble Team got some leave time and went out in civilian clothes, what do you think they'd wear?
I mention this because I got into a (somewhat playful) argument about it with someone. He thought Kat would wear sandals. I said I thought converse would fit her better. Or she might be one of those people who wears their military issue boots with civilian attire. Or those commercially bought black military boots.
Then he said it makes her look goth when she isn't.
Was this a weird rabbit hole to go down? Yes. But I personally think it is important, nonetheless. ☝️
If halo studios/ 343 says the halo 4-5 elites are experiments how do you explain this guy
If their experiments was this actually arbiter, or an imposter?
Why is Din Djarin in a domesticated Halo ring, is he trying to buy an legally obtained UNSC grade auto jerker??!??!??
That's illegal, those jerkers were made for Spartans and are very expensive. This dihh could fall off. Or can he handle it the thrust power against a Jiralhanae back side???
Any reason why we haven't domesticated a Halo ring???!?!??
They have some decent recourses and could be an excellent place to live in. They where meant for research for the reseeding the Universe therefore these rings were built for human life. Sure there might be some problems like the flood samples or the Sentinels slimeing you because you touched a forerunner power generator. Sure not a lot of land is there compared to a average human colonie but it's would be a nice buffer zone to any splinter covenant faction that goes "wort wort wort, must light the rings".
Land is still land and there should be a Walmart in the middle.
Grunt BBC?
Was reading Ghosts of Onyx and this Grunt won a file of BBC.
Is this something in lore or is it like the British Broadcasting Channel? I heard grunts did enjoy human media so just curious.
If they were to make a Halo 2 Remake, what new missions would you like to see ?
"THE REMAKE SUCKS!" "THE RENAKE IS GREAT!" "THE COMMUNITY IS TOO WHINNEY!" Cute, sexy and round harbinger
Why don't yall shut uo and tell something good about your day, huh? Or a cool thing about your favorite halo?
Today's coffee was good, lunch too, and i love how in Reach the lights on the elite's armor blink when the shields are down(At least in multiplayer), so neat!
I had to doodle it.
I couldn't stop thinking about it, I couldn't resist.
If halo is a weapon, then how will it make believers gods?
In Halo CE, Cortana says: "If I'm analyzing this correctly...they believe that Halo is some kind of weapon. One with vast, unimaginable power"
And in Halo 2, the Covenant now believes that the ring will make them gods. So why do covenant call halo a weapon then?
Why hell is Qatar building a Halo ring, did Guilty Sparkel orchestrated this endeavor!?!?!?
Why couldn't Sparks work with Truth? Truth was literally trying to light the halo rings. If Guilty wasn't such a larper and a Rtas 'Vadum meat rider he would have gotten his wish. Instead the humans and the elites decided to half-ass his request and slime him in the process.
Now he came back from the lobby and he decides to do it again, in Qatar, unbelievable.
