Cuticula - Blue Lava (Polish Pickup Oct 2024)

Worn in 3 thin coats over a clear base coat (Glisten & Glow) with Glitter Grabber and Fancy Gloss top coat.

Trying out some new colors from my latest Cirque haul. This one is Charcoal Jelly. I’m still pretty new to nail care so I was especially proud of my application on this one. I’d tried jellies from Essie early on, but these Cirque jellies live up to the reddit hype and are so much easier to apply without streaks.

Since I’m so new, any comments or pointers on my application would also be appreciated. I’m committed to shorties but I do want to get a little more length on my index fingers for my next mani. Keeping those tips in good shape has been hard for me though!

1x Polished For Days Chill basecoat
3x O-Type Star Cracked
1x Cracked QDTC

Still some bare spots - will likely need another coat in the morning☹️

These feel like the perfect color for this in-between spring/summer season!

2 coats BKL The Death of Peace of Mind - first coat demagnetized, second coat magnetized for 90 seconds with horseshoe on top of 5D spinner, on top of lab spinner (AKA magnetron 5000)
1 coat MC Speed Demon Top Coat, magnetized 90 seconds with magnetron

KBShimmer, Pitcher This. It is so glowy and delicate, and looks so different in various lighting conditions. I love it!

Started with ILNP After Hours. Found it a bit boring and added Inspired Sense I've got a green Thumb and ILNP Flower Child the day after.

Love it soooo much 💚 In search of similar bright, glowy and shimmery Polish. Anyone have other suggestions to try? His name is Yuyo BTW 🦜 the match is uncanny.
