So I’m not supposed to have any polish on my nails at all but I couldn’t help myself with my birthday coming up and I start school next week. I wanted to de-stress.
Basically, I’m in a graduate medical program and that’s why I can’t/shouldn’t have polish. However, I tried to get the most natural look color to not bring any attention to them.

Edit- hi everyone! I’m in didactic year of school and won’t be seeing patients. It’s just for my birthday. I don’t think I’ll be getting a fill in about 3 weeks to a month bc I’ll be studying. I won’t be using/doing hard gel on my natural nails once I’m in clinical year!!!
Edit#2- I went to a nail salon. I’m not too sure what shade she used bc I asked her to do something close to the natural shade of my nails. I can call the shop to ask as well too!

Today was my first real attempt at an ombre that I would wear out. I'm pretty happy with how it turned out and learned a lot that I'll bring to my next attempt. I will say that I underestimated the effort and time it would require to get all of the polish off of my skin! Next time I'll use some brush on latex to mask it.

The leaves here have started to fall during the last week. And the weather’s gotten rather gloomy. It won’t go over 20*C anymore this year…
I did super cute orange nails with pearlescent effect yesterday, but they didn’t feel like it. At all. I think I’ll succumb to darker tones for now - feels cozy.
The gorgeous red is Essence’s “Left Me On Red”, topped with their “Top Gloss”.
I've been thinking about a blue gradient skittle for a while, but the light blue I had was too purple.
Popped into Dollar Tree today, and found an Essie just waiting for me :)
