Dead pixels in TCL QD-mini Led TV
Purchased a TCL Q6C QD-miniLed 55” TV. When TCL technician was installing the TV, i noticed a few dead pixels. Another reddit member recommended a white screen test during installation, i simply followed his advice, thanks to him. The technician tried to dismiss that this was not a big issue. Still, i registered a complaint with TCL customer care. It has been 3 days and no communication from TCL yet. Anyone faced a similar issue? Does this warrant a TV replacement?
Single dead pixel on new TCL 65 Q6C — worth exchanging or not?
Bought a new 65” TCL Q6C from Recent Amazon sale. Found one dead pixel near the corner. Not visible from normal viewing distance and panel otherwise looks good.
Should I Ignore & keep it or replace it?
TCL Q6C ISSUE
While watching even yt content the faces and exposure suddenly becomes very red as you can see in some scenarios in video and automatically gets normal as you can see in last part of the video
Was becoming reddish few points
TCL q6c settings
Bought 65 inch TCL q6c and my viewing distance is around 9 ft
Can someone pls guide me in detail what should the picture settings be and do I need to send up different settings presets for different content
My major content 70 percent is cricket and I have found the quality and screen blur and not fully sharp for some reason even at high quality,if someone could pls help me,even ball also feels flickered and I have switched off motion clarity as many said, but the major problem is overall sharpness in all contents
It doesn't look like a mini led 65k tv
Is my decision is fair on Lumio vision 7?
Confused between Lumio 7 and LG UHD AI 8200 – need suggestions.
I was initially considering TCL, but after watching a detailed Decode video
https://youtu.be/bLZIPoEILzE?si=2fiMMcK5sNa42bXO I found the material quality shown there looked quite different from what been marketed. Also, there doesn’t seem to be a proper OLED panel, so I dropped the idea.
Now I’m confused between the Lumio 7 (around 35k) and the LG UHD AI 8200(45k+3k magic remote). Lumio looks interesting, but since it’s a newer brand and doesn’t offer an extended warranty, I’m not sure if it’s worth taking the risk.
For people who have used either of these TVs:
- How is the picture quality and panel quality?
- Any issues with durability or after-sales service?
Is Lumio reliable enough to consider over LG? Would invest 10k more and sit in peace or should I go for Lumio
Need suggestions for the best 49/50-inch TV under ₹50K mainly for Movies & OTT content.
I’ll be pairing it with a Sonos Arc Ultra + Sub 4 via HDMI eARC, so audio compatibility is extremely important.
Looking for a TV with:
• Dolby Atmos passthrough
• DTS support
• HDMI eARC
• Excellent picture clarity & color accuracy
• Great HDR performance (Dolby Vision preferred)
• Smooth UI & fast processor
• Good upscaling for OTT content
• 4K panel with decent brightness
• Reliable long-term performance
Usage:
Mostly Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+ Hotstar, YouTube & movies.
Please suggest models that work flawlessly with Sonos Arc Ultra without audio delay/compatibility issues.
Phone suggestion under 70k
Hey everyone,
I am helping my sister find a phone. Priorities are-
Camera
Battery back up
Processor for video editing.
ip68 for rain and all.
She is leaning on Vivo v70 (Currently she is a vivo customer), I am trying to push to s25 as I owe one but the battery isn't the strong point. No OnePlus for obvious reasons.

🇮🇳 Things India Can Reduce Importing & Use Domestic Alternatives Instead 💡
Every imported product = foreign currency leaving India 💸
Small changes by millions of people can make a HUGE difference.
🔋 1. Use Phones & Gadgets Longer
Don’t upgrade every year 📱
Repair > Replace saves billions in imports.
⚡ 2. Buy Energy Efficient Appliances
5⭐ ACs, inverter tech & solar panels ☀️ reduce fuel imports and electricity burden.
⛽ 3. Reduce Fuel Usage
Better driving, public transport, carpooling & EVs = lower oil imports 🚗
🛒 4. Support Indian Manufacturing
Toys, utensils, decor, electronics, furniture — many local MSMEs can compete 💪
🌾 5. Use Indian Oils More
Mustard, groundnut & sesame oil instead of imported palm oil 🥜
👕 6. Prefer Indian Textiles
Support local cotton, handloom & durable clothing instead of fast-fashion imports 🧵
💻 7. Use Indian Software Where Possible
Apps & SaaS subscriptions also send money abroad 🌍
Examples: Zoho, Tally etc.
🏠 8. Repair Culture Comeback
India once had a strong repair economy 🔧
Fixing appliances instead of replacing them saves imports & creates jobs.
✈️ 9. Travel More Inside India
Domestic tourism keeps money inside the country 🏔️
🇮🇳 Real economic strength comes when:
✔️ India manufactures better products

New 55Q6C, Should I be worried about these spots?
I recently purchased a TCL 55” Q6C. After installation, I decided to do a screen test and found some 8-9 spots which, to me, look like specs of dust rather than dead pixels. Amongst them, spot 1 and 2 (see images) are largest and both situated at the respective bottom corners. Rest of them are quite small and hard to find at a glance even when looking from a very close distance.
When looking at the screen from a distance, it looks clear and there is no issue at all while watching any type of content.
I also tried to tap the spots lightly and felt them move slightly (based on comparing earlier images of same spots), though not completely sure of it. The TV is still in replacement period of Amazon. I would like the opinion of the community members to decide whether it’s worth going through the hassle of replacement or not.
🇮🇳 Hidden Import Substitutions India Rarely Talks About 👀
(But can save HUGE foreign currency over time 💸)
🪛 1. Spare Parts Industry
India imports tons of small parts:
- appliance motors
- AC sensors
- laptop batteries
- phone displays
A strong local spare-parts ecosystem could save billions 🔧
☕ 2. Imported Coffee Chains & Packaged Drinks
People pay premium for foreign brands while Indian coffee, tea & local beverages are world class 🇮🇳
Supporting local cafés & brands keeps profits inside India.
🧴 3. Korean/Foreign Cosmetic Craze
Massive money goes into imported skincare & beauty products 💄
India can build strong dermatology-based brands using local manufacturing.
📦 4. Packaging Materials
Even small imported packaging films, foams & plastics add up massively.
India can dominate biodegradable & eco packaging 🌱
🐶 5. Pet Products Industry
Imported pet food, accessories & grooming items are growing fast 🐕
Huge opportunity for Indian manufacturing.
🎮 6. Gaming Economy
Millions spend on foreign games, skins & subscriptions 🎮
India needs:
- local game studios
- Indian stories/mythology games
- esports ecosystems
📱 7. Refurbished Electronics
A strong certified refurbishing market can reduce fresh imports massively.
Imagine:
✔️ repaired iPhones
✔️ refurbished laptops
✔️ reused AC compressors
♻️ Huge forex saver + less e-waste.
🧠 8. Foreign “Brand Mentality” Imports
Many products are imported mainly for status, not quality.
Example:
- luxury water bottles
- overpriced sneakers
- imported decor
- premium packaged foods
India loses forex for branding psychology 🧠💸
🏗️ 9. Construction Materials
India still imports many premium fittings, hardware & smart-home components.
Local manufacturing here can explode with better design quality.
🧪 10. Laboratory & Medical Equipment
Huge hidden dependency.
India imports:
- sensors
- testing machines
- medical devices
- diagnostic electronics
This sector has enormous long-term potential 🇮🇳
🌞 11. Battery Cells — The Future Battlefield
India assembles many products locally but imports lithium cells 🔋
Future winners will control:
- batteries
- rare earth processing
- energy storage
This is as important as oil was before.
📚 12. Educational Imports
Foreign coaching platforms, courses & certifications drain money too.
India can build better:
- skill platforms
- engineering education
- technical labs
- research tools
🚢 13. Shipping & Logistics
India pays massive money to foreign shipping companies.
A stronger Indian shipping ecosystem is a hidden strategic necessity.
🪑 14. Premium Furniture
Many urban consumers buy imported modular furniture.
Indian woodworking & engineered furniture industry has huge potential.
💡 Biggest hidden truth:
India doesn’t only import products.
India imports:
- branding
- technology
- trust
- design
- ecosystems
The real victory is when Indian products become globally trusted.
TCL C8K 85” — How Good Is TCL After-Sales Service?
I’m planning to buy the TCL C8K 85-inch TV. How is TCL’s after-sales service? Has anyone dealt with TCL service centers after receiving a faulty product or facing panel issues?
I’d really appreciate honest experiences regarding warranty claims, replacement process, technician support, and overall customer service.

TCL Q6C(55 inch) available at 40k in amazon
Guys planning to buy a 55inch tv, how is TCL quality and its service. I can see negative reviews about the build quality and after sale service support. Also how extra useful is this extended warranty. Is it a scam, should I also take the extra warranty package
Daikin Split AC not cooling to set temperature in 2nd season – service done but problem remains
Bought a Daikin Split AC 1.5TR FTKM 5-star in 2025.
Worked perfectly in first season. This summer it runs fine but the room doesn’t cool down to what the unit shows.
I normally keep it at 28°C and it used to work fine. This season even when it shows 24°C on the display, the room doesn’t feel anywhere close to that temperature.
Service technician visited, said there’s no leakage and just a service was required. Did the service in under 10 minutes without opening anything — and the problem is exactly the same after.
Has anyone faced this? What was the actual cause in your case?
Guide me guys.
is TCL Q6C worth at 40,500 on amazon for next 5 years
I bought 55" Nokia QLED back in 2021 (my worst mistake as the company has gone and display of the TV become so much blue that every movie played on it become 'BLUE MOVIE', and so 'DIM' that if a little sunlight in room, no one can see if TV is on). I mostly watch movies/ series/ Youtube on TV and no gaming. Sometimes download movies and watch through Pen Drive.
So, recently I decided to ditch that 55" TV with a must requirement of high brightness (at least 600-700 nits) and in Mar, 2026 i came across TCL C6KS at amazon around 34000. As soon as i could research about it, the sale was gone. Later, i again research across TVs, I found that Mini LEDs are good to go with. Since I am not fan of any non-Google TVs which does not provide app sideloading, So i am only left with Sony, TCL, XIaomi. Xiaomi Latest S Mini LED and Sony 2M2 (no Mini LED, but equivalent to Mini LED) price is beyond 50,000.
So I only left with TCL C6KS, Q6CS, Q6C and C6K (C6KS and Q6CS are out of stock on both amazon and Flipkart) and 55" Q6C is available at amazon in sale. Should i wait for KS or CS version which i heard brightness wise same as C and K version. So please suggest does KS and CS version are really worth and should i wait for them to get back in stock or I should go with Q6C right now.
TLDR: Does Q6C is better to go at 40500 from amazon to use for next 5 year (mostly watch movies/series by downloading) or wait for Q6CS or C6KS version currently out of stock (which might available below 35000) if not much difference in quality and are enough for my requirements
Please help me decide between TCL C6K/Q6C TV sizes - 65 inches or 75 inches?
Need help deciding between the two sizes.
Getting the 65" one for 53k INR and 75" for 78-79k INR.
3 years Extended warranty of around 8k INR each on top of these prices. So 65" becomes 53+8=61k and 75" becomes 78+8=86-87k.
As per a TCL rep, the 65" variant has 242 dimming zones and the 75" variant has 312 dimming zones.
No budget constraints. Was actually looking for an OLED so have my budget set accordingly.
TCL c6k/q6c or Xiaomi s mini led in terms of picture quality, which is better? (65 inch)
Looking to purchase one of the above. Can anyone shine light on which one is better in terms of picture quality, colors, and experience.
