Finally got the LG QNED82BXA instead of TCL C6K / Q6C

After searching for 15 days across platforms, I found the LG QNED82BXA at the same price as TCL Q6C. Additionally, got 3 years warranty instead of TCL's 2 years. Did a lot of reading, lot of user experiences and found that screen issues with TCL are quite common. Didn't want to take a chance with 50k, so went with the better brand.

How much coffee powder to use for 2 cups of good filter coffee?

This is one bit that always keeps me confused. I keep doing trial and error to meet the right quantum, but there are diverse views.
Eg: most of you would have seen this video of Venkatesh Bhat on YT where he uses around 7tbsp of coffee powder to make 100ml of decoction. That's roughly 100gms. Is that much needed? Isn't that a waste of a lot of coffee powder? I currently use around 2 tbsp for 2 cups.

Need help with Car rentals

Yes I know the first thing that will be said is "use public transport, the trains and connectivity is too good". I know. And I am using public transport for most part of my trip. I still want to experience self driving in Switzerland.
Have also seen at the parking charges as well.

I need help with this:

  1. The rentals differ a lot in terms of cost. What should be a good standard rate for say 3-4 days of rent?
  2. We are 5 of us - so I'd be looking at an SUV that can fit of us + our luggage properly.
  3. Any specific rental companies that are good and trusted?
  4. Can I pick the car from one place and drop it at another? Say pick from Lucerne and drop at Zurich airport?

Would love some advise. Thanks in advance.

55" TV for living room? Nothing fancy

Guys, pls suggest a good 55 inch tv for the living room - good picture quality that's it what I want. No playstation etc. One thing I dislike in the modern tvs is how it looks as if being played on 1.2x speed like over smooth - want to avoid that absolutely.
Budget - around 40k.

How is Entlebuch Biosphere, Schüpfheim for staying in terms of convenience for Lucerne, Mt. Titlis and Mt. Pilatus?

Hi folks, I plan to stay for about 4 nights to cover area around Lucerne. I am getting an Airbnb at a good rate at Entlebuch Biosphere, Schüpfheim. We are a family of 5 with senior parents. Is the area convenient to travel by train if we plan to cover the mountain regions of Lucerne?

Getting a very good deal on an Airbnb here that makes it very attractive, cost wise.

Need a camera - absolute noob and beginner.

Hey folks.. So here's me, an absolute noob and beginner at clicking pictures. Have never had a separate camera before. I realise that I travel decent and keep taking shots on my phone. This keeps taking a Lott of space on the phone, plus it has also kind of raised my aspiration to get a separate camera. Budget - nothing fancy, around 20-25k?

I have no clue about lenses, mirrors etc. My main idea is to point and shoot, be budget friendly and not at all delicate. Usually click nature, portraits etc.

M even Ok to get a GoPro, if that is good. I can also look to get it from other countries if that's cheaper including US, Hong Kong, Japan, EU etc.

Let me know what's best.

Would love some inputs on my travel plan

Family of 5 with senior citizen parents travelling or about 10 days in September this year. Here's the plan

Day 0 - nothing just land at night, checkin to Zurich and sleep

Day 1 - Rhine falls, Zurich old town, Lindt chocolate factory - may rent a car from Zurich to Lucerne

Day 2 to Day 5. Lucerne
Mt pilatus, Mt Titlis and the Brienz Rothorn Bahn

Need help here - how long is the Brienz Rothorn Bahn? And can I add anything around Brienz on that day?
I'll be covering Lucerne city, Lion Monument, Boat cruises etc around Lucerne between Day 2 to 5.

Day 5 to Day 8 move from Lucerne to Lake Thun
Rent a car - and explore Interlaken, Lauterbrunnen, Mürren, Grindelwald (skipping Grindelwald first), some nice local pubs like Husi Bierhaus, etc.

Need help - days 5 to 8 - they look nice and chill on paper, just want to ensure that they don't end up to be boring, especially after the first 3 days of good activities. If there's anything around the Interlaken / villages nearby to be explored by car, I can add them.

Day 9 - Back to Zurich and home.

Thanks in advance for the inputs.
