Investing advice with 10 lakh cash

I have been saving from past 8 years in a wrong way.

I have 10 lakh in cash and I need some solid investing advice.

My short term goal is to buy a car. I have never owned one.

What do you guys suggest?

Should I not buy a car instead? Considering the E20 blending issues that is arising in many cars?

I need a financial advisor. If someone has contacts please DM.

Comments are also open to some interesting perspective.

5 Years Together… Replaced in Just 2 Months. Was It Ever Really Love?

I genuinely don’t understand relationships anymore.

My friends colleague was in a 5-year live-in relationship with a guy named Pankaj from Pratapur, UP. Everyone around them thought they’d eventually get married because after spending half a decade together, surviving fights, family drama, emotional breakdowns and everything else… what else is even left?

But apparently, a lot.

The girl is Nepali, and her mother never approved of the relationship from day one. Despite that, the girl kept trying repeatedly to convince her family. There were endless emotional conversations, requests, crying, pressure but her mother stood firm and refused every single time.

And honestly, the relationship itself wasn’t healthy either.

The guy was disrespectful throughout most of the relationship. He would mistreat her, emotionally manipulate her and even threaten or blackmail her at times because she was a Nepali citizen living in India. Still, they continued together for years.

What confuses me more is that the girl herself used to openly admit many times that she wasn’t even sure about him or their future. She said she loved him, but didn’t really see stability or happiness with him long term. Yet she still wanted marriage maybe because after 5 years, live-in, emotional investment and even multiple abortions during the relationship, leaving probably felt impossible.

Maybe both people were just holding onto history instead of love.

Now here’s the part that genuinely shocked me.

They broke up just around 2 months ago.

And now on the 19th, she’s getting engaged to another guy who is a CA working at E&Y and suddenly everything is perfect. The family approves because the new guy is Nepali. She says she’s in love again.

I’m not posting this to shame anyone. I’m honestly just disturbed watching how fast people emotionally replace each other after years together.

How do you spend 5 years with someone, share a home, go through pregnancies, abortions, family fights, trauma and “forever” conversations… and then move on completely in 60 days?

Was it ever love?

Or do people simply stay in relationships because they’re scared of starting over?

Posting on behalf of a close friend. She is 29 (5’0”), currently working as a Power Sector Consultant (Assistant Manager) with an annual income of around 13–15 LPA. Academically strong, she holds a B.Tech in Electrical & Electronics Engineering and a Master’s in AI & ML.

She comes from a well-educated family with moderate values. Native place is Khurja (UP), currently based in Noida. Interests include music, chess, and journaling. She is simple, grounded, and values meaningful conversations and mutual respect in a relationship.

We are looking for a well-educated, professionally stable, and family-oriented match with similar values. Someone mature, understanding, and serious about long-term commitment would be ideal.

Preferably non-smoker, with a balanced outlook towards career and family life.

Feel free to DM if genuinely interested or for more details.

Hi everyone,

I’m from India and will be in Manila this June for the Asia Clean Energy Forum 2026 organized by ADB. I’ll have about one free day and would love some recommendations.

What are the must-visit places if I have limited time? I’m open to sightseeing, local experiences, or anything unique to Manila.

Also, I’m a vegetarian: any good veg-friendly restaurants or dishes I should try?

And lastly, anything I should avoid (areas, common mistakes, food, etc.)?

Thanks in advance!

Hey everyone,

Sharing my Lagna, Moon, and Navamsha charts here. I’ve been trying to understand my long-term prospects—especially around wealth, career growth, and overall success.

Hi everyone,

I'm a Civil Engineer (B.Tech) with M.Tech in Geotechnical, currently working in power sector consulting (mostly govt/public sector work) in India. It's been around 2.5 years now.

On paper, things look great, I started at 4 LPA and now I'm at 20 LPA. Good growth, decent exposure, people around me think I'm doing well.

But the truth is... I don't feel confident in what I'm doing.

I constantly feel like I'm just figuring things out as I go, patching gaps using Al tools, and basic aptitude. I get the work done, I perform well under pressure, but inside it feels like I'm always one step away from being exposed.

I know this might sound like imposter syndrome, but I also genuinely feel my core technical understanding isn't strong enough, especially for the long run.

And that's what's bothering me now.

I don't want to keep working in this constant stress state where I'm "managing somehow." I want to actually feel solid and confident in my domain.

So I'm trying to figure things out:

Are there any courses or paths that actually help, not just add another line to the CV?

Also, if anyone here is hiring or knows roles where I can grow in a more structured way, I’d genuinely be interested.

I’m a quick learner, I work hard, and I’ve handled pressure well so far… I just need some direction now.
