A love letter from a dev team that definitely did not press the button... again

I just wanted to share some screenshots and a quick note of admiration from our dev team to The Stanley Parable. We’re working on our own strange little corporate themed game, and whether we like it or not, Stanley is in its DNA. Every time we build something weird, or let the player step outside the “intended experience”… that’s got SPs name all over it. Even in our "First Day" achievement for the player playing for 24 hours.

So, this is just a small thank you from people who probably wouldn’t be making the thing we’re making if you hadn’t existed first. And we thought this community would also appreciate the art for the surreal world we have been creating.

…we also promise not to include a broom closet. Probably.

------------------

I don't want this to pivot into a disingenuous marketing post, but I figure the first question I will get from people who share our love is "what is the game called"? So, this is The Incentive Program and the Demo releases on Friday if you are interested.

Are there some endings that can't be repeated?

I've recently rediscovered this game after 4 years (should have waited another so I could get that first Go Outside Achievement...) and I'm trying to track my progress. I've done almost all of the endings and I think I've done some of them already but I don't seem to be able to do them again.

The four in question are Skip Button, Sequel, New Content, and New Content Bucket. And obviously the Art Ending but I don't have time to save that baby.

I've done the epilogue and am already up to Stanley Parable 11, so I'm fairly certain I've done at least some of these. My Jump Circle counter is at 0 and I don't know that I've seen the New New Content sign.

Based on that, is it possible I saw all those endings 4 years ago and just forgot about them? I know there's no achievement for seeing all the endings, but the competitionist in me wants see everything.

Since I have narrator as my username and pfp on one of my socials it leads to some funny situations

He's being way too casual here 😭🥀

Reanimated an old animation of mine (not Stanley ending)

Old on left, new on right

This is a remake of an old narrator animation i did a year or two back ,, he looked really goofy back then 🥀

But i feel like i have improved in my animations, both model wise but also character acting wise, i feel like ive got the emotion down accurate, and that i sort of waited at the last moment to show the disgust in his voice instead of keeping it on 24/7 in the old one

Art dump

Drawing 1: My Voice

Drawing 2: The Impossible Encounter

(Basically the idea that even though narrator has been close to death ig you could say (skip button would be the absolute closest thing to that) he will still be alive and stuck in the loop)
