Venom: I Love Chocolate, what do you like? Ryuk: Apples. Venom: You Motherfu-
So I had recently just watched End of Oak Street in theaters and I had honestly really enjoyed it! But as the movie was progressing there was a single hint, a single thing that hinted towards the main focus of the film taking place. During the party at the beginning of the movie, Denise heads over to Mrs. Huddleson's house for a Review or advice on her newest Novel/Book. She likes it but as they talk Mrs. Huddleson show's Denise a strange plant in her backyard. It appears to be some weird tree like plant that Mrs. Huddleson thinks was planted there for some sort of prank or joke. When Denise tries to find out what type of plant it is from a library, she asks the librarian if she knows what type of tree it is. And she does! It apparently though is an prehistoric species of plant. As that is discovered weird things happen around the house as well as that Radio speaking of Weird Rips in the fabric of reality. And then the main Premise of the movie happens! I Think that this movie is based off of an Analog Horror. Don't Believe me!? Well let me explain!
Part One: The Plant.
Remember when I said that the weird plant was a Prehistoric Species according to the librarian? Well I'm sure some of you have no idea how that could possibly be similar to an analog horror! Well....there is... the "If you have seen this tree" Analog Horror. The Analog horror goes like this with the second image as shown above. As you can see, it appears to be some extinct tree that if you see it, you have fallen into some sort of rip in the fabric of time. And that is exactly what happens in End of Oak Street, The Plant is similar to the tree, there are rips in the fabric of time or reality according to NASA in the radio, and the whole neighborhood is sent to the prehistoric period! And sure you could argue the tree in the picture and in the movie are not the same, but you can see how they are similar. Not to mention both the Plant and the amount of time they go back in is in/from the Mesozoic/Prehistoric Era.
Part Two: The Characters did the Exact OPPOSITE of the Instructions!
If you take this information and watch the movie again, you can also clearly see that the characters in the movie do the exact OPPOSITE of what the instructions of the analog horror say, they stare at the plant/tree for a while, they panic when they see the lights and Denise slightly becomes worrisome when she realizes what the plant is, and they do not call for help to get away from the dinosaurs while also at first thinking it's just a normal accident. And if you really think about it... Not following these instructions and doing the exact opposite is kind of a whole thing in this movie. The Main cast ALWAYS stares at whatever crazy prehistoric things they stumble into, they panic constantly when they run into Dinosaurs or obstacles, and they do not call for help a lot. Yes a lot of people would do these exact things but I doubt that some would just keep staring at a Dinosaur as it slowly and scarily walks through your house.
Part Three: Dream Scenarios, A Movie based off "This Man"
In 2023, Dream Scenarios was released! This Movie's premise was a man Who kept appearing in people's dreams! Which was based off of "This Man". A Hoax about a strange looking man that appears in most peoples dream. If this movie can exist, then I can totally see a movie based off of an Analog Horror of a tree that sends you back in time.
Anyway thats all i wanted to share, what do you guys think?
Also Extra question, i plan on doing a thing where i "animate" (make pics of) FAN BATTLE'S Fights, since most of them are just text for you to picture it with some little bits of animation. Do you think i could do it? or should I keep practicing with my Sprite Art?
Rules: Each day you spend in the Backrooms you have to switch to the next floor for the next day, you will have to record everything with a camera on your chest, and any monster survival you get you earn an extra $500. What do you do?
Atlantis: The Lost Empire, at first I did not really care for this movie considering I was more paid attention to other Disney Films which I love including How To Train Your Dragon, Big Hero Six, Kung Fu Panda, and more! However one day I kept getting those weird clips of the Movie with a black box and white text over it, And I actually liked the clips and The Character's in it were pretty interesting and kind of cool in my opinion. So... I ended up watching The Movie for the first time with my Stepmother and... Boy I have a lot to say about it. The first thing I'd like to get out of the way is...
The Characters:
It's crazy because at first I was like "man these character's look really cool! And then at the end I was like "I love these characters they are so cool and awesome!" Mole, Sweet, Audrey, Milo, Kida, They were all just amazing and honestly included one of my Favorite Villain's right now...well...because of the Movie! To start I really love how Different Kida is as a Disney Princess, most of the time There's an such an obvious path for a Disney Princess to go down it start's to get kind of underwhelming or boring. But Kida is really different, She is simply The Daughter of the king of an Ancient Empire who is fond and interested in the outside world where Milo is from. Speaking of Milo, Milo is honestly an amazing example of a geek lame character who ends up being such an awesome main character, and he even has great chemistry with Kida! They are both so fond of their own world's they both have a theme of exploration and adventure! Just like the movie! But then we get my favorite part about a movie, The Villain of the movie: Rourke. Rourke In my opinion is such a great Villain and especially since his Twist of being a Villain in the first place Is so well done! And it's kind of a Fresh air since most Villains are like: "This happened to me and it was sad... SO NOW MY SOUL IS DARK AND I WILL DESTROY YOU!" or something like that. Rourke is just like: "I want money off of this great place." In Short: All the character's are great and they give off awesome feelings! Second Thing I'd like to talk about is...
The Animation:
I am not going to put this any other way, Atlantis: The Lost Empire has some of the Best Animation I have EVER seen from A Disney Film. The CGI is great, The 2D Animation is GREAT, and it Fit's the Narrative and Plot of the movie so good! I could not see this Movie in 3D Animation whatsoever.
It's Completely Underrated.
With this Movie I was kind of expecting people to be Obsessed with this Movie by today's standards, and I was right! Kind of... Apparently a lot of people were actually not big fan's of this movie because it was different from other stuff Disney had made. And its like... I Beg to differ??? Most of Disney's movies were 3D and 2D Animated Movies with Main Character's Who overcame problems with a group of people and learned lessons about new things about their worlds along the way! It is not.. DIFFERENT. Apparently people gave SHREK more attention and praise than this movie and While I am kind of biased since I think SHREK is overrated as hell, I still hate the fact that This movie has became Underrated for what it is when SHREK has been doing a Similar Thing! In the words of a Comment I found of another Review on this Movie: "Yes you got a Burger at a Pizza place, but it was a damn good burger!".
Anyway that's all I wanted to share! What do you guys think?
If you asked me what the first thing that came to my mind would be if you said "new and improved". It would be Purple Face. Purple face is just a straight up Better Character and version of yellow face that imo is just... So annoying. Yellow face is Annoying, Racist, and just... does not help or barely contributes to anything. Purple face is kind, an actual interesting and cool character, DOES NOT have an annoying face, and even tried to help those debuters in Fours mouth! He's a real one! Yellow face just... sucks./
Specifically Cuphead ONE Bosses since I dont remember much from the second one.
The movie is based off of this man named Carl who discovers the whole "If this is the first camera then who took the picture of the camera" drama, so he goes all around the world to the Picture's Origins just to find out what Camera took the picture of the "First Camera", and the Truth to this Camera Drama. He goes insane the more he dives into it and stops it by just trying to forget about it, but he cant. The picture and drama is always in his head! So he does the one thing to try to let it go. He destroys the "First Camera" in the Photo and everything goes back to Normal! The End.
I'm getting mixed signals about Jax here. DO YOU HATE HIM OR LOVE HIM!? YOU CAN'T JUST TELL ME HE HAS WAR EXPERIENCE AND THEN ONE DAY TELL ME HE IS TRANS, WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO THINK ABOUT THIS CHARACTER!?
Yesterday after watching Atlantis The Lost Empire for the first time, Kacey ended up making me Watch the Faculty for the first time and I liked it and got the Premise, the Student's think their teachers are aliens. It was actually pretty creepy/scary and I loved how it was obviously simple to Invasion of the Body Snatchers but the area, the alien, and where it has been actually felt different from The Body Snatchers in a way and it felt really Interesting. Also speaking of the Aliens: I CALLED IT WAS >!MARYBETH!< THIS WHOLE TIME! >!Her!< Strange Behavior, >!Her!< weird Name, and even sometimes when >!she!< just had a Blank face the whole time. It felt pretty great to guess who it was lol. Either way, great movie! Would definitely Watch again, 9.2/10!
I'm A Horror movie fan, I love all sorts of horror movies. Traumatic Ones, GORY Ones, Insanely Disgusting Ones, and Confusing Ones! But Horror Movies have done one thing to help support the realism for their scary jump scares, villain's, and other stuff that In my opinion have been getting a little bit risky throughout the years and imo isn't the best usage. and that is Digital Effects.
Digital Effects: Its Risky, and sucks sometimes.
Digital effects are what producers, directors, or horror movie teams or whatever use in order to create Horror Villain's, Effects, and gore in their movies way easier, but when it comes to Digital Effects I feel like it being used is sometimes forgetting one of the key factors that makes a Horror Movie scary in the first place, the Realism. When we watch a horror movie one thing that keeps us up at night is "What if this happens to me?" and that thought is supported through the Realism that the Horror Movies have, but without Digital Effects, sometimes it can remove that feeling of realism making people go from "OH MY GOD WHAT IS THAT" to them bursting out with laughter. That's why sometimes Using Digital Effects IMO isn't necessarily the best thing to use, yes it does work sometimes and its not bad all the time but it isn't the best option. You wanna know the BETTER way to make people stay up at night and scare the fuck out of you?
Practical Effects: It looks Terrifying and it creates hits!
The Thing in my Opinion is a perfect Example of the Good of Practical Effects and the Bad of Digital Effects. The Original The Thing's Practical effects were so good with the Transformations and Movements of the Alien that it became such a popular hit and went to become one of the Most Popular and Well-Known Sci-Fi Alien or... well... MOVIES of all time! It's gross and disgusting, it keeps you up at night and is just awesome! The 2011 The Thing's Digital Effects were mediocre and kind of bad with the Alien's Movements and Transformations, it a decent amount of people disappointed, and a lot of people just became focused on the Original which is understandable. In this case the Digital Effects just did not hit and this isn't the only time Digital Effects have not been the best scares on the Big Screen or TV Screen, many other Horror Movies have had bad Digital Effects that have ruined the reputation of the whole Movie, which supports my claim that Using Digital Effects is way more Risky than using Practical Effects. Yes Practical Effects probably cost more and are hard as hell to use but at least it works a lot better for the Finishing Touch.
In Conclusion, Practical Effects are way better than Digital due to it being more realistic, it making people more scared and it just... looks better sometimes or maybe... most of the time. Do yall agree? Let me know your thoughts down in the Comments!
The Burger King FOOD would kill me already
I will NOT STOP. BELIEVING IN THIS EPISODE/MATCHUP. IT WILL HAPPEN. IT GOT PITCHED FIVE TIMES, HENRY GOT 3RD PLACE IN THE CHAMPIONS ISLAND AND A AVA CHARACTER EVEN GOT A CAST. I WILL NOT STOP BELIEVING IN PEAK.

[OOC] So.... I've been spending a total of... 3 Months so far down here in the ol Backrooms that this reddit says, thank god I've found a phone, for some reason it had the same password as mine. But I don't want to think about that. Anyway I kept exploring and I ended up finding some sort of empty sitcom area with preparations and everything. I was exploring it until a Still Life came and when I was about to run away, more came and they just kept making weird sound's and moved around. Then a speaker made the sound of a Laugh Track. They weren't looking at me and it felt weird in a way. I then tried to record this when the phone I found got a notification of a Sitcom happening, I watched and realized the still life's were doing the exact same things as the people in the sitcom, meaning what was happening here was happening in the Real world. I thought maybe I could get on stage to try to send a message but the Speaker made a static sound and THAT is when the Still Life's started to chase me, I fell down the stage and started to run when things got normal again. I re-watched the Sitcom footage and something actually happened. There was a staff member who's eyes for some reason were bright white who went on stage and did the exact same things as me, the sitcom had to come to commercial break. I have SOME idea on how this works, so... wish me luck.
What honestly should have happened:
Ok look. I get that there are a bunch of character's that easily deserve to win, but (this might be a hot take) I believe that MARKER. yes. MARKER. SHOULD and CAN be the winner of TPOT. In the court I present Evidence A.
Evidence A: A Comedic Relief and just a Relief.
I'm gonna be so incredibly honest here, 90% of Tpot Nowadays is just focusing on deeper and deeper thing's related to characters that is put into a way that doesn't make us feel calm or having fun anymore with the Original TPOT, Yes the newer TPOT Episodes and lore are still cool and I (KINDA) Like the new approach to the Algebraliens. But Whenever Marker appears on screen I cant help but feel grounded again in reality. Marker In my opinion shows a personality that is still able to give us goofs and laughs and at the same time just chill and have fun. Not many characters can do that in my opinion. Marker in my opinion as a character helps us not feel too overwhelmed by the amount of "Crazy This!" and "Crazy That!" happening for the TPOT Lore. With all the other stuff going on its just "Man this is crazy!" But with Marker its like: "Oh yay its marker now I get to actually laugh and feel comfortable". Anyway I now present Evidence B.
Evidence B: An Actual Contestant Feeling.
TPOT In my opinion has done something that makes me feel underwhelmed recently with their episodes, and its basically just it evolving into something far more crazy and unique than it was supposed to be. I...kind of miss the original TPOT episodes like one, two, three, all before the ONE Saga. I Miss when all there was, was just watching the Objects fight and feeling grounded Like I feel like we were supposed to be. And before you say "but what about 4 and X then", The way their character's were represent helped support the Grounding for the show. When they came on, the main challenges weren't something crazy but instead just stuff that would feel almost normal. Marker in my opinion gives off a feeling of an Actual Contestant and not some Character going through an emotional arc that barely makes you think about the actual point of it all. Marker is just an object who helps you go through goofs and laughs and makes you feel grounded, so instead of him being a main character, he feels like an actual contestant and I love that. Now I Present the final Evidence, Evidence C.
Evidence C: I Just love him and I think he's different ok!?
I Love marker Ok!? I Feel like with every contestant (like i said earlier) it's just them going through an emotional arc one time when they didn't matter that much within the past few screen times and then they get glazed by like the whole community. But Marker is just such a Comedic Relief, he feels less in depth than the others which i like because i think the whole in depth thing with these characters is underwhelming, and he is FUNNY. Ok!? HE'S A FUNNY, COOL, HARD WORKING, SIMPLE, NOT TOO DRAMATIC CHARACTER.
Welcome back to another round of "which horror monster would you rather try to survive" in todays corners we have The Thing and The Blob, which one of these extraterrestrial Monster's would you rather try to survive.
Congratulations Buddy! You have been assigned by the Grim Reaper to send certain people into their graveyard! All you need to do is check their Afterlife Identification Card, Look at the Photo of the Coffin they want, and ask them how they died so that you can give them their own spot at The Local Graveyard! Beware though, there's a lot of Demons these days who pretend to be a normal ghost so that they can steal the other souls in the Graveyard for Satan. Your Job is to assign the Ghost's Coffins at the Graveyard, make sure they aren't demons by keeping a track of what they or their card looks like, looking at the Coffin they want and by asking how they died. And Guess What? If you can successfully get in 150 Ghost Coffins into the Graveyard, The Grim Reaper will allow you to return into the living world and you win! Each time you get a Ghost Right you gain "Creepy Cash"! Which allows you to expand your graveyard, give you different items to help tell if the Ghost is a demon or not, and give The Grim Reaper different sunglasses which vary the Round's by the type of Sunglasses since the Grim Reaper will give you a checkup every round. Red Sunglasses will lower the percentage of Demon's Appearing. Yellow Sunglasses will double the amount of "Creepy Cash" you get each time you get a Ghost right. Purple Sunglasses which you can only buy once allow you to Lower the amount of Ghost Coffins you need to get by 20%. There will be different types of rounds automatically as well like an Rare Eclipse Round where there will be an insanely high amount of Demon's that will appear and a low amount of Ghost's that will appear, There will be a Builder Round where Coffins can Break Easily so you will need to use "Creepy Cash" To fix them quick, and there will be a HELL round where everything will go at 2x Speed, Satan will appear in the sky, and its basically a Pandemic. So? Are you up to the Challenge? Well Find Out Now at this Local Graveyard!
You are a lawyer and your job is to try to defend A.M from I Have No Mouth And I Must Scream. Good Luck, low key i would defend him because well... you gotta admit his speech was sick your honor.
