Curious to hear if this would appeal to anyone.
EDIT: accidentally wrote "Endless Space" which is a space grand strategy game. I actually meant to say Fractured Space which was a capital ship MOBA game that shut down, similar to Dreadnought
Maybe something like Star Was World of Warships, Fractured Space, AC Black Flag or anything like that where you'd control a capital ship with all of its weapons and maybe even launch starfighters from your hangars etc.
what is the best Star Wars game you guys have played for me it’s probably clone commando
If I wanted to set up a Republic (clone wars) vs Galactic empire with maybe some other factions in the mix what is the best mod to go with? I've seen remake 4.0 clone wars hold outs looked decent. Id like opinions. But Republic victory empire is my main goal.
This takes a frustrating game and makes it into the intended Arcade classic with some down grades. WHICH is still frustrating but at least I feel like an X-wing pilot ❤️💚💙
I have been playing a lot of outlaws and I love that i am not the chosen one or a jedi. I enjoy the setting of just someone making a life for themselves in the starwars universe.
I was a huge fan of pre-cu galaxies for this reason as well. Visiting places like bestine and wayfar feel like returning home.
A guy can dream.
Had both the original floppy disk version and later the collector's CD ROM as a kid.
My favorite part was the Stele Chronicles book. I must have read this thing dozens of times and would even take it with me to school. The story part is an excellent tale of a citizen of an outer rim world aspiring to join the empire and becoming a TIE pilot. And of course the nerd in me loved all the art work, ship specifications and etc.
Takes me back to a time when buying a game wasn't just for the experience of playing a game, but everything else that went along with it, even when you weren't in front of a screen.
i just found out last night that we can play this classic on the anbernic 353m. Just LOVE IT!!!
I got force commander to run on my MSI Raider! I haven’t played this since 2002
Please check out my review of Monopoly Star Wars: Heroes and Villains. It's a fun, team-based spin on Monopoly that's a good time if you view it as getting a new board.
While the game has a pretty bad reputation for a Star Wars game,
it's cool that one of the characters, Commander Farrell and the actor, Michael Drew, got a role in Return of the Jedi.
He is the A-Wing Pilot who lures Tie-Fighters back to the surface of the death star.
It’s Star Wars speedster, something we don’t really want. The pod racing is going to be so small.
Found these cleaning my attic in one of those classic floppy disk containers along with Doom and Duke Nukem lmao
I’ve been thinking back to when I had an iPad and remembered a very niche game from Star Wars that had your play card to use the characters in game as a mechanic that’s the best I can explain it and I’ve been trying to find it but can’t,
I beat outlaws and really enjoyed it and I recently got Jedi academy Star Wars 2 Jedi outcast and fallen order
I plan to play survivor later but out of these 3 which one do you guys think I’ll like the most and which one should I play first
It sometimes feels like the older (pre-Disney) Star Wars games are treated like an untouchable, dogmatic gold standard of Star Wars games (looking at you KOTOR..)
I grew up with the original Battlefront II (2005), but playing it today, it feels incredibly arcadey and plain. I think my childhood imagination was doing a lot of the heavy lifting.
Similarly, the Jedi Knight games feel super dated to me now even though I enjoyed them as a kid, especially since I've been spoiled by the modern Jedi: Fallen Order and Survivor series.
If you didn’t grow up with these classics and played them for the first time recently, how do they actually hold up for you? Do clunky controls and dated design push you away, or do they live up to the legendary hype?
