I was holding out hope that Re:Boot would be more than just updated visuals and CGs. I love Steins;Gate and have consumed almost all the media out there. If this had come out when I was still early in my Steins;Gate phase, I probably would've ate it up. But now, it just doesn't do much for me. Re:Boot could've done so many interesting things instead of just rehousing the same story we've already seen. Sure, there's some new content, but it's still missing chunks of the original VN script not the best way to experience the vn
At this point, I even fear that a post-credits scene setting up a continuation might end up harming the perfection of the original true ending. Right now, I just don't know how to feel about the future of SG and Sciadv
My fault for expecting something cool to come out of reboot never again

I've watched both animes years ago and always wanted to play the VN but couldn't. Now the remake is out. Should I buy that or the original release?

Someone already posted the new Re:Boot scene on YouTube. I gotta say it's kind of a nothing burger but it's cool that (SciADV) >!they included Shun in the game for some reason. I know he's a debugger but he just says a bunch of cryptic things and it ends. Anyone got any ideas what it means? Maybe a tie in to Steins;???!<

Like this yapping to the Viewer is tiring. Its basically just saying "Remember the ending of A;C?!, well it happened!!!" Absolute bare minimum that everyone saw coming.

I expected the Characters ingame to atleast realize something but it seems like it will take multiple other Games for the Characters to realize the "truth of the world" while the Viewer is already aware of it since C;H or A;C.

Im starting steins gate (the anime). I see so many different watch order guides but they are not very consistent. Please help me out haha

I’m pretty hyped about Reboot’s release, but I’m not hearing any voices while playing on Steam Deck. The music’s playing just fine.

I’ve tried Proton Hotfix, Experimental and GE, but nothing seems to fix it. Anyone got an idea?

Found that a bit odd because from what I can tell, previous releases from the Sci;Adv series have all included .FLAC files as well. R;N, C;C, A;C. Still sad they didn't make the soundtrack for C;H available at all and a couple of the others.

You need the xaudio.dll for the voices to play. Same as Anonymous;Code. I just copied the dll Co0 included with their A;C patch. That's all. Hope someone finds this useful.
