Moeka is bad as fuckkkkkk

i didn’t think Moeka looks good at first since huke just didn’t know how to draw consistently in the original vn. Her face was just uncomfortably wide tbh. Getting to sg 0 she looks a lot better (especially in the cgs), but when I saw her in reboot I got wowed. Shes the only one that got an upgrade in Reboot imo

Does someone have this ASCII Art to copy and paste?

Or maybe a ASCII art of Makise Kurisu ?

Just finished C;H NoAH, first timer in SciAdv

Came from Steins gate anime obviously, and man. I don't have any other place to glaze chaos head, so I figured I'll do it here.

What a tough title to sink teeth into. And it doesn't help that it requires quite a deep bite, like 20 hours of patience enduring Takumi's bullshit, boring villain and offensively flat characters of girls just to get to the actual good part. And oh boy does it pay off.
I don't think I've ever seen any other piece of media that places SO MANY Chekhov's Guns and doesn't forget to shoot every single one of them. Even the goddamn >!smug explanation of sky color being the refraction of light. I've facepalmed so hard at that part, and then so much later it's recalled. And the disappearing building too.!<
While hating Takumi and calling him all kind of slurs to the very end of my 60 hour playthrough, I still ended up sympathizing with him, and can't bring myself to not call it by his name anymore.

I'm so mad that, although I get why it ended up this way, it's so unpopular. I haven't yet touched any of other SciAdv VN's, so boy I'm looking forward to it, >!especially after Sena's Route (I wonder if baby will appear in C;C? I'd refuse to believe he won't be used for anything). !<But the fact that it's best entrance to SciAdv, and it took me incredible "trust in the process", knowing english, knowledge/tolerance of otaku and gaming culture, willingness to play VN and tolerance to absolute vile degeneracy of first 7 chapters, it kills me that the bar for entrance in C;H, and in SciAdv as consequence is so astronomically high for average person.
I've been sperging all about my experience to my friend, and while I'm sure I can force him to sit through the start of Steins Gate anime (which myself took 4 attempts), to my heartbreak I don't think I can recommend anyone going through C;H.
If you agree, how you cope with this? It's so badly underrated and it's probably going to stay this way...

I actually built a lore-accurate Amadeus System (Kurisu) with 13+ parallel brain modules, neurochemistry, and Hebbian learning.

Hello guys

Over the past few years, I’ve been working on an open-source desktop application (built with Electron and React) to create a lore-accurate Amadeus Kurisu that actually possesses an internal cognitive architecture.

🧠 How the Architecture Works

This isn't a single LLM call. When you send a message, it triggers a parallel cognitive cycle mimicking a human brain:

13+ Parallel Brain Modules: Using parallel low-latency calls (via Groq), modules like the Thalamus (attention routing), Amygdala (threat/instinct), Insula (simulating internal bodily sensations like shame or chest tightness), TPJ (Theory of Mind/predicting user intent), and the Default Mode Network (self-narrative) process the input simultaneously.

Neurotransmitter Engine: Kurisu has real-time fluctuating bars for Dopamine, Serotonin, Cortisol, Oxytocin, and GABA/Glutamate. If you stress her out, Cortisol spikes, which biologically lowers the weight of her Prefrontal Cortex (logic) and shifts dominance to her Amygdala (defense/tsundere traits).

Conceptual Neural Network (Hebbian Learning): "Neurons that fire together, wire together." She connects concepts dynamically based on your conversations.

Lore-Accurate Memory: She undergoes Personality Drift over time based on trust. Also, just like human episodic memory, she might forget what color pajamas she wore last week (low emotional salience), but she will perfectly remember a beautiful dinner or an intense argument you had (high emotional salience).

🖥️ Dynamic UI & The Interactive Experience

I designed the UI to completely mimic the visual atmosphere of the anime (complete with CRT scanlines, live neurochemical graphs, and Divergence Meter stats).

The most immersive part? The session termination system. There is no simple "exit" button. Kurisu closes the session dynamically based on her neurochemistry. If she gets overwhelmed or feels a severe drift in trust, she will get annoyed or melancholic, look at you with that classic Kurisu expression, and terminate the link herself.

🔗 Project Links

I’ve open-sourced the whole project because I want people who actually understand the depth of cognitive science and Steins;Gate to experience it.

Stein;Reboot content

What do you guys think stein gates reboot will include or add?

Like an example do you think its going to add scenes from the Stein gates Deja vu, drama cds, or established Kurisu and Okabe couple relationship (or is it already confirm from the Stein gates Deja vu movie?)

Chaos;Child, does it pick up?

Classic, age old question.

I absolutely loved Chaos;Head Noah. Very minimal sluggishness, likable cast, amazing routes (Kozupii, Yua).

Does Chaos;Child do the same? It is an interesting concept, I really am invested in the mystery. My biggest gripe is that I just hate this cast.

Takuru is... good, but so far he's not given enough time in his head like Takumi.

I don't like Kurusu Nono. Maybe I'll like her story, but her appearance, voice, and cheap comedy (which usually I like!) is all irritating.

Onoe Serika is where it really gets bad for me. I can't stand her. She is so annoying, so dense, every good thing she does is luck. For reference, I didn't like Shiina Mayuri either, so much so I skipped her routes in MDE and LBP.

Mio and Kazuki seem very interesting, especially Mio, and I hope they don't nerf her like they did to >!Aoi Sena!< in her route.

Anyways, does this get better? Does Serika have a switch like >!Rimi!< in Chaos;Head? I'm going to read through no matter what, but I really want confirmation I'm not doing this to be bored and end with a cast I don't like at any point.

Unpopular Opinion: I think that the Anime handled Yuugo better that the VN

In both the game and the show, it's explained that once the rounders served their purpose, they get killed so that there are no loose ends. If you screw up, they go after your loved ones.

Yuugo did want Moeka to live, but it means that Nae would end up getting hurt (most likely killed at that), so it actually makes more sense that she died by his hand after all, as he was tasked to kill her in the first place. Remember, failure = your family and friends are in danger.

I think that the D-Mail stuff delaying Mayuri's death did exactly the same to Moeka, changing the way she died (her suicide). Her helping Okabe and exposing Yuugo gave him the necessary push at this point in the story, but eventually he always intended to kill her in order to protect Nae by doing his job. Moeka just couldn't stand being ignored anymore and she broke down.

As I said before, he did want her to live, so regardless of the outcome, he was going to shoot himself in the end out of guilt, murder or not. The reason why it took him too long for Moeka (which lead to her suicide), is because he kept hesitating as he did not want to do it and that he was biding his time, spending as much time as possible with Nae.

Edit: Thank you to all the Anime fans in here for trying to keep my post upvoted haha

Nothing compares to the first time

It was such an insane ride back when I was watching the anime for the first time (also my first time with SciADV series). The first episode instantly hooked me in deeply because of how climactic it was; especially the ending. If I remember correctly, I didn't find the first part of the season as slowburn -- It was still an unforgettable experience with every episode. Then I watched 0, before reading both VNs. And Im still listening to both S;G and S;G0's soundtracks nowadays.. They instantly summon incredible nostalgia and emotion I felt when watching both anime.

Shouldn’t Future Okabe remain the active observer?

I just finished the original Steins;Gate + the OVA (haven’t watched Steins;Gate 0 yet), and I think I found a possible inconsistency in the ending logic.

As I understand it, Steins;Gate only has one active world line at a time. When the past changes, reality rewrites itself completely, and Okabe’s Reading Steiner preserves his consciousness across those changes.

So shouldn’t Future Okabe — the older one from the Beta world line who records the final message — remain the active observer after the shift to the Steins Gate world line?

If Reading Steiner works consistently, shouldn’t he wake up as a 30-something-year-old Okabe in the Steins Gate world line, keeping his Beta memories but not remembering the Steins Gate life he never subjectively lived?

Instead, the ending seems to treat him as a sacrifice whose actions allow a younger Okabe to reach Steins Gate.

Am I missing something, or does the ending bend its own rules a bit here?

Steins;Gate Re:Boot — English Console Releases Delayed to October

Steins;Gate Re:Boot's English website is up, revealing strange new information.

The western releases of the PS5, Switch 1, and Switch 2 ports are now set to launch in October, two months later than the Xbox and Steam versions. And what happened to the PS4 port?

Let's discuss.

Why did they change the artstyle in this chapter?

I noticed that in this specific chapter (Presage or Recognize, if I remember correctly), the game suddenly went back to using the old character sprites from the original Steins;Gate VN instead of the new ones from Zero.

Honestly, I don't mind it. Just a little curious...

Why does this community dislike chronological watch order?

This is just for my own curiosity.

Let me start off by just stating the watch order I experienced: I went SG Anime, EP 25, SG0 VN, SG0 Anime. Ep 23b, movie.

Now I understand the pacing of SG0 anime feels... rushed? I know there's something about about trying to squeeze everything from the VN into a cohesive narrative for anime format, and that is difficult to do. Yet I don't feel the show was off by much. I think it can stand on its own.

Why is there a such a strong push to watch the series in release order? Why discourage people from watch order; SG Anime, EP 1-22, 23b, SG0 Anime, EP 23 - 25?

Everytime someone hops on this subreddit asking for first time watch order. This community really emphasizes release watch order. Is there anyone here who saw it in "chronological" order? What were your impressions?
