Pitchside for Leigh at Everton’s Hill Dickinson Stadium on Saturday - two of the greatest loves of my life coming together!

I've supported Leigh since I was a kid, so to be watching the game there was something else. And getting the result we wanted made it even sweeter.

But I know this isn't just about one great day. Rugby League deserves more: more investment, more backing, more recognition than it's had. I don’t believe the sport has had fair treatment over the years. As former RFL President, I’ll be a staunch advocate for the game in whatever office I hold, from our grassroots clubs, all the way to the very top.
