MTG is back on Tuesday
Let’s see how this one goes
Let’s see how this one goes
Disclaimer: only when “it” happens under nonviolent circumstance, the most likely being a heart attack on the toilet.
I’m in favor of “dingdong, the witch is dead”. It’s a classic. Brits sung it when Margaret Thatcher died. When it does happen, he will no longer be president and he shall time and time again that he doesn’t care to be a decent person when someone dies. And many of his supporters has said that empathy has no place in government for some reason. So why don’t the cohosts return the favor?
What do you guys think?
I always find it interesting that when a guest comes on, the way they greet the hosts is often different from the way a previous guest will do it. For instance, some guests will hug one or two of the hosts, but not all of them.
Some might kiss most of the hosts on the cheek but then for one of the hosts, they won't do that (and will just give a shoulder pat instead)
Not sure if anyone here knows, but does this get arranged in advance by what the guest wants to do? Or is it more a matter of a particular guest might be closer with certain hosts (such as Whoopi) and not know the others as well.
Looks like the show is going to be reruns all week- Will it be back next Monday? Did they say?
He has a line. So weird seeing young Trump show up in random shows and movies.
With all the talk about the Knicks finals during The View, I’m not sure the show ever mentioned Eddie? It‘s such a cute movie with Whoopi being peak Whoopi.
It is very disappointing that no mention of inflation and rising costs of groceries and everything affected by the Tariffs Trump dumped on Americans. The elephant in the room topics of all the government agencies from the FDA, Weather agencies other protective agencies shut down and no longer funded including our parks and forests while fire season is peaking.
The ladies at the table were obviously censored in topics they could ask about, basically a show about nothing when it could have addressed issues and impacts he and Trumps administration are having on Americans while Trump robs our government blind.
Why are corporations NOT paying their fair share of taxes and not paying Americans "Living Wage".
It is really frustrating to see the things that affect us the most go unaddressed.
A couple messages for Brian (who we know lurks around this group) about our national treasure Joy:
You can’t let Joy retire from this show before the end of this administration. Not only is Joy the glue that holds the panel together, her ability to bring us a mix of coherent thoughts and laughter is so needed right now.
PLEASE make her the permanent moderator of the show. The Friday shows and the weekend view are such a breath of fresh air. Joy seamlessly presents topics, adds meaningful contributions without being patronizing or incoherent, and transitions to breaks like the pro she is. The viewers (and Joy) deserve this!
Thank you ☺️
Looks like we can expect some of the Loose Women as possible guests for the upcoming season 30 celebrations. This and the Rosie tease has me excited for next season. I hope they go all out with celebrating and honoring the show’s history & legacy.
Of the current panel (Alyssa, Ana, Joy, Sara, Sunny and Whoopi), who do you feel doesn’t get as much love as they deserve?
I’ll say Alyssa only because she’s the most recent addition 😊.
I’m tired of Ana’s name dropping. Today she brings up Mark Anthony and then we get to see a picture of her on a video call with him. She just seems so full of herself!!
Crazy to think it's been 20 years since then. I remember watching it in real time and being disappointed that she wouldn't be sparring with Rosie next season, but girlfriend left with a bang.
I really don't like Alyssa's sarcastic comments when Joy is the host. Alyssa rolls her eyes and thinks SHE can talk over everyone. Thank God Ana is there to give it back to her!
It's always fun watching old episodes and seeing how so many things they discuss are still relevant to today's world.
For years, the public has been waiting for the Democrats to step up and meet fire with fire. They’ve been bringing knives to a gunfight. As Sunny says, we need an opposition party. The GOP changed the rules and Chuck Schumer writes a heavily worded letter. I’m so excited that this younger generation is coming up to oppose this tyranny. I’m with Sunny. We need politicians that aren’t bought by SuperPACs who are gonna fight for affordable.
I don’t assume these politics will work all over the the country. But in NYC they seem to be framing how the party can take control and left this ship.
She’s a powerful, influential woman who is one of a handful of people who would have the most insight into what’s going on in Iran. I’m glad to see she’s getting more prominent spots now (she just has a very informative appearance on George Stephanopoulos’ This Week).
I enjoy The View the most when they host experts… not just share opinions. Obviously, Sunny’s insights as a lawyer are helpful when relevant. But, tech experts, foreign policy, and history buffs really make the show stronger. I know not all women have the same background/want that kind of show. But, it makes me sad when it feels like we, women get shoveled the more “soft” interviews, even on difficult topics.
