Necropolis knight in 3 or 6?
Hi! I'm starting into tomb kings, already played a few games with 1k or 2k lists with various changes and was wondering because I love the miniatures, is it more preferable to play 3 necropolis knights or 2 groups of 3? What do you think?
Mouse Pendant
Can anyone confirm what the medallion around the Bone Giant's neck is supposed to be? It looks awfully like a mouse's head to me, but I have no idea why. It seems comically out of place with other TK paraphernalia, except perhaps, I believe there is some lore about a random Skaven appearing with a dagger or something, centuries before they appeared in the old world Can anyone shed any light, or correct my misinterpretation of what it is supposed to represent?
Tomb king on Dragon loadout
So its been a few months now, how are you guys loading out your tomb king on dragon post the armour of ages changes?

Battle March Advice!
Greetings all, i recently acquired the tomb kings launchbox in a trade and have very limited knowledge when it comes to The Old World but I’m very interested!
What would be optimal build from said box at 500 pts to get started learning in battle march.
My assumption would be.
Mortuary Cult.
Mortuary priest on foot.
Block of skeleton warriors (10-20?)
Skeletal archers
Not certain what hammer i could build so to speak at the points level. Maybe chariots?
Thanks in advance for whatever advice you can provide!

Chariots and skeleton horsemen.
That's it for 1000 points!
There's more on the way, but that's all that is finished for now!
Greetings lords of the shifting sands…
Ive always been interested inn the army and I have come into a deal on the tomb kings launch box that i could not refuse! Looking for tips on making a battle march list to get started learning the game! Any tips and tricks on what to build from the box to have a fun time learning!?
How to equip/use double dragons?
I'm keen on trying tomb kings and love the skeletal crocodile-dragon that TK have, so I'm thinking of running 2 in a low model count/ monster mash list. I'm curious how most people equip and use them in competitive games though.
For example, in a TK grand army list, should both my king general and high priest hierophant be on dragons? Or should I have double kings on dragons and my mortuary priest hierophant be hidden in a unit in the back? And are there any common loadouts that folks can recommend?
All info appreciated!
Mixed city state army
Hi all
I was thinking about doing a mixed army from different city states, possibly under settra. Im a real sucker for lore and also i like painting variation instead of a 100 miniatures in the same colour. Does anyone know if and which states would fight under settra.
Thanks

"My ancestors rests here. My friends, my family all slumbered peacefully as I watched over them. I hoped they would continue to slumber for eternity because only I knew the horrific failure of the ancient magic keeping them alive."
Hi everyone, I recently purchased some skeleton warriors and in order to paint them, I would like some guidance for the colors. What are the main colors for the cities of Nehekhara? Anyone knows the color or the lore of Alexandretta? Is there a city that uses blue and yellow? Thx in advance.

"It is time. You have slept for far too long. The humans grew like wheat in your absence. But unlike wheat they brought only destruction and death.
Look at the once full fields of crops now reduced to ash and sand.
Look at river. Dried out and poisoned from their waste. It used to reach all the way up to that rock over there. Yes , the one cracked in two. Oh Anan'ka... do you remember us playing along the river bed?
So arise. Arise my friend and go reclaim what is ours. "
10mm scale Tomb Guard
3D printed models by Onmioji. Tiny models with tons of little details to keep track of. Onmioji's models are definitely some of the more detailed sculpts in this mini scale. All I have left to paint are the basic spear and archer skellies and my tomb kings army will be complete.

2000 points list I made so I don't throw my Necrodragon at the wall
Hiii
So I played 3 times with Khemri and each time I lost hopelessly. Im a beginner in TOW but I play a lot of 40k so I tried screening, tying up units while I get in position etc. etc. Well it didn't work. As soon as Bones Malone and the spooky boys got touched by an imperial cavalry unit or anything from vampire counts my lines crumbled instantly. (Once taking a necrosphinx with them because imo unstable rules are stupid).
So I browsed a bit here, tried looking at guides or anything. And I tried to make a workable list here.
55 - Mortuary Priest, Wizard Level 1, Elementalism
55 - Mortuary Priest, Wizard Level 1, Elementalism
105 - Mortuary Priest, Wizard Level 1, Elementalism, Scroll of Withering
165 - Royal Herald, Battle Standard Bearer, Standard of the Cursing Word
429 - Tomb King, General, Necrolith Bone Dragon, Great Weapon, Armour of Destiny
156 - 3 Sepulchral Stalkers
141 - 3 Skeleton Chariots, Master Charioteer, Standard Bearer, Musician
141 - 3 Skeleton Chariots, Master Charioteer, Standard Bearer, Musician
96 - 8 Skeleton Horse Archers, Chariot Runners
50 - 10 Skeleton Skirmishers, Warbow
50 - 10 Skeleton Skirmishers, Warbow
50 - 10 Skeleton Skirmishers, Warbow
290 - 40 Skeleton Warriors, Light Armour, Thrusting Spear, Master of Arms, Standard Bearer, War Banner, Musician, Magic Standard, Nehekharan Phalanx
70 - Tomb Scorpion
147 - 3 Ushabti, Ritual Blade
The plan is to have the chariots and the warriors crash into the enemy lines (and hopefully kill some of them with the momentum of their bones falling to fragments and going into the opponents eyes).
Soften up the line enough so the Ushabties, the scorpion and the TK have a bit of time to manouver and either work as a second wave or get to the sides.
The skirms will hood objectives and fire at enemy skirmishers.
The job of the horse archers is to be a speedbump.
Please criticize this list and help me get better because I would love to like this game but so far it only brought me misery. (I wish it was fun loosing but Im just loosing too hard)
Step 1, some troops
Round bases are because it is a commission and they will be played in one page rules
Finally finished my Liche Priest on foot.
Took a little while but its done! Now on to my kitbashed BSB.
