What’s wrong with poults wing? How do I treat it? The other one looks just fine

I’m not sure how long it’s been there for, the poult is 3-4 weeks old. I’ve never seen this before, He used to run more that I have noticed but otherwise he seemed fine

Wild Turkey Egg in Compost??

I just found what I'm pretty sure is a wild turkey egg in my compost pile. It's cool to the touch, so I'm assuming it won't hatch into anything, right? I'd try to incubate it otherwise.

Do you guys think a compost pile is somewhere a turkey would lay an egg, or did some other animal try and stash it? I'm pretty sure it wasn't on the surface, I didn't see it till I dumped the shovelful in my bucket.

I have pictures, but don't see a way to post them, sorry. The egg matches pictures of turkey eggs. White, speckled brown, with a pointy end, slightly larger than typical chicken egg.

5 little cuties

Bronze turkey poults I picked up today. Never thought I'd have turkeys but here we are. I have no one else to really show so sharing here for others to join in on the awwing. 🫶

Edit to add that this is a pic of them when picked up. They've since been moved to a cozy brooder.

My one eyed, crossbeaked turkey poult

Went to get some chicks and the lady asks me how experienced I was with chickens, I answered very and she asked me "do you want a one eyed turkey?" Then proceeded to show me this little girl! She had arrived that day from the hatchery and couldn't be sold because of her defects being so severe. She was very small (thats a seabright chick in the picture with her!) She has to be handfed almost entirely for 2 days but yesterday I noticed her being able to get some solids in and she was snapping at the syringe! She still refuses to eat moistened food to make it easier. She does have to have a higher up and deeper water dish but has very little issue drinking. Shes put on about 10 grams a day! I know its still early but im very hopeful for her!

Injured Turkey

Seeking advice:

Yesterday we rescued a baby turkey with an injured leg, the man we got him from said he "couldn't keep up" with his flock and he needed a new home. He has a seriously injured leg that he is not able to support himself with. It looks and feels dislocated so we attempted to splint it last night but it seems to be even worse today. We've been keeping chickens and ducks for a few years but this is our first turkey - if there is anything we can do for him we'd obviously love to see him thrive and live a long healthy life, but if we are just prolonging the inevitable we don't want him to suffer. Any insights or advice would be greatly appreciated.

NC Turkeys

I can hear turkeys gobbling off in the distance but they are not on land I have permission to hunt on. How often should I be calling them to pull one over here?
