Fowl pox?

Hi all, does this look like fowl pox? I noticed these scabs on her wattle about a week ago and isolated her from the flock. The others show no symptoms. She does not seem to be feeling bad, she behaves normal and eats and drinks. I’ve been giving her vitamins daily in her drinking water, anything else I can do? Thanks in advance!

Dead and dying forests in the great plain.

Whole hectares of forest succumbed to drought and every year it gets worse. Healthy forests get cut and newly planted ones fail to thrive. It’s turning into a desert and there is nothing I can do. It fucking hurts!

What are the critters in my compost tea?

I assume the small black ones are mosquitoes, but what are the white ones with the long tale? Thanks!

Unexpected frizzled chick.

Hi all! So, I bought eggs from a reputable breeder from a relatively new, yellow-laying chickenbreed. The breeder mentions nothing about frizzled feathers on his website and on the pictures from his chickens, they all have normal feathers. How does this happen? Is it bad in any way? I was thinking this might be an interesting opportunity to create frizzled Eastereggers? Any thoughts? Thanks for your input!
