Has anyone ever had to make a home move while doing Vine?

I live in a mobile home park in North Carolina, we were recently bought out by a multimillion dollar company. And long story short I was told this week that if I did not give them $32,000 in cash for the double wide I’m currently renting that they would be serving me (as well as other tenants Who are currently renting & don’t own) with a notice to immediately move. I have lived here for 7 years & had not planned on moving. But now I don’t have a choice. I’ve been in the vine program for almost a year. I’m not sure what it’s going to look like when I move and I’m not sure if I need to contact vine support or if it’s a simple as changing my prime membership address. Has anyone ever moved home addresses before while still doing fine? If so, what exactly did you have to do?

I’m not getting this package am I

I’m so bummed about this one. I grabbed it for my husband for Father’s Day. Why is it always the ones we really want that end up having this happen 😭

I can't tell what is going on here...

I was looking at a very strange Vine item to try to figure out what it was and I noticed there was a review. I can't tell if this Vine reviewer was using text to speech and didn't edit it, if they were having a seizure or just insanely sleep deprived and writing while in a twilight state. Unfortunately the review is just as strange as the item, but they clearly loved it. 😂

Why is the ETV higher than the coupon price?

This has happened to me a few times. Today I almost bought a $59 electric kettle in my RFY, until I checked the regular listing and saw that it has a $17 coupon, so the price to buy it would be $48. Yet the ETV is $59. How does this make sense?

My Reviews Have Disappeared, Vine Purge, & Technical Difficulties

Tonight, upon going to check my reviews under my profile, none are showing up. I’m talking about the profile screen you navigate to by clicking ‘your content’. My entire review history will not load. They have all just seemingly disappeared (for now).

It’s worth noting, my reviews are still showing as approved under my vine review history, and I can still view my individual reviews from there. They’ve just disappeared under my profile.

This is different from some of those who were removed during the seemingly ongoing vine purge, where their entire review history was removed and left in a a not approved state with community violations cited as a reason.

A few Others in the discord have also reported not seeing their review history showing up under their profile this evening. So, either this is an Amazon technical difficulty, they are revamping something, or some more of us are about to be kicked from the program. Who knows🤷‍♂️

If you are a stand up vine member like myself, (e.g. you submit quality reviews in a timely manner without over ordering to the point where pages of reviews pile up) then I wish you luck throughout this ongoing vine purge.

Edit: a user in the discord noted that they checked the profiles of many non-Viners, and that their reviews aren’t showing up under their profiles either. This appears to be a sitewide issue.

As another member said, this is pretty bad timing with the purge. Many users are going to be thinking they’re about to get the boot. That was honestly my first thought too, so I was relieved to see that my reviews were still showing as approved under the reviewed page.

Amazon's own words: "How the Vine Program Works" / Family Involvement

Shameless, I know, but what does it hurt to ask/try?
Surprisingly, an actual Human Response was received (the first time, only).
https://review.inspirationalagony.org/#R500 click: "For my 500th Vine Review…"
Anyone else here let their family/friends/neighbors contribute towards your reviews/opinions? [Whether disclosed therein or not?] Feel free to include their words: odds are, you'll get away with it.

Sayonara, Adios, Goodbye Vine!

https://preview.redd.it/ted8ktosh32h1.png?width=1778&format=png&auto=webp&s=bfd0ba3eb09aa03a7238e056d399483a86cd2473

I logged on today to find EVERY ONE of my Vine reviews, going back years, marked as "Not Approved" - 361 reviews, most with an "Excellent" quality score (at least as far back as they had that feature), and a banner saying my Vine account was closed. I can only guess that it was because I was only infrequently ordering anything (due primarily to not needing car parts, poorly spelled birthday banners or feminine hygiene products). At my peak I had ordered nearly $8000.00 ETV. Since my last review in April, I was only up to ETV $600-ish.

It was fun while it lasted, but I have to say there has been so little of use/value the past few months, that it really doesn't feel like the loss it would have been two or three years ago. For every thing there is a season 😄

Spell check is importanter?

I’d almost like to grab this one just for the fun review. All of the listing pictures are the same!

Has anyone ever contacted the company about a Vine product?

So I scored a automatic litter box back on Oct. It completely changed our cat life. That thing has been a lifesaver. So last week, I was cleaning it, as per the instructions. I have been doing it the same way since it got it. After reassembly, I went to plug the base back into its location and it wouldn't start anymore. Just like that, it stopped working. After trying everything and getting no where, I went out and got a new box, because I had tossed my old nasty one. I was going through the manual just to see if I missed anything and there was instructions to contact the company for issues.

I emailed them, not expecting any response. Imagine my shock when they responded. After a week of trouble shooting, verifying my order, and a few videos, they said my box was still under warranty and they are shipping me a new one. I am thrilled. I will definitely be updating my review to add this new piece of information and help they provided as they stand by their products. So glad I reached out.

This makes reviews difficult 🙄

Several of my recent orders became unavailable within days of my receiving them, leaving me unable to write reviews for them, but they're still listed under my Awaiting Review section. If I write to customer service will they remove them so I don't get penalized?

ISO Looking to reunite these feetz.

If another Viner reviewed the Five Fingered Toe Socks and have the two left feet, I’ll send you mine if you send me yours, lol. Ever happened to anyone else??

Rejected Review-but what can I say?

After seven months, I had my first rejected review. I'm sure because it's perceived as a "medical claim". But I can't figure out how to review it without that, it's a back brace. It's literally MADE for pain relief. Any suggestions? Would just removing the two sentences where I mention relief be enough? This is the product, and I pasted my review below. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0GT8FSGP2?th=1

I've got chronic back pain from a 25 year old injury, bad enough at times that I ended up in the ER again six months ago. So when I saw this back brace from NUCAMPER, I ordered it right away. I've tried everything including heat, cold, rest, and creams & balms.

The brace is really well made, very sturdy and it stays in place well. Compression really is the best pain relief sometimes, and this brace really delivers that. The metal bars really help keep it in place.

The only reason this isn't a five star product for me is that there's no size chart anywhere on the listing that I can find. I ordered a medium and it feels really tight on me, and I'm 5'3" and weigh 122 pounds. That just seems really small considering this brace is supposed to be unisex.

That said, it did provide relief even though I couldn't sit down while wearing it. So I do recommend this back brace for pain relief, but be sure to order at least one size larger than you'd think.

Seems like Vine is asking more for less

Does anyone else feel like Vine is asking more out of us with scoring review quality and media inclusion while making Available for All and Additional Items almost completely worthless? I honestly haven't gotten anything from AFA in almost 6 months. On the rare occasion a quality item shows up, it's gone before I can even click the button. Of course, unless it's unorderable and then stays there for 4 weeks. Vine feels like working a demanding minimum wage job that doesn't provide benefits.

Amazon Vine got so bad I finally kicked my addiction to it

I joined AV March 2025. I suppose I caught the very tail end of an era. Back then the offerings were over 100,000 a day. There were less Viners. Back then, an item would sit long enough for you to actually read the description before deciding whether to take it.

I rushed to meet the 80 item requirement to make Gold. Ignoring the tax implications I achieved that goal in one month, and went on to review another 160 items.

I got addicted to the thrill of finding "goodies" and getting multiple packages each day. It was like Christmas, only with a tax liability attached.

Slowly reality set in. First, with all of the boxes I had to dispose of, then later, realizing a good percentage of what I ordered was either junk, or something that I really had no use for. I covered a ping pong table with a lot of it, and ended up constructing a shelf unit, as well as using folding tables for the rest of it.

Over time, these past 6 months, with the increased number of reviewers, plus the shrinking inventory, and the use of Ultraviner with all of the advantages it gives those willing to pay for the sophisticated extension, it became near impossible to get anything good.

Emotionally, it was so frustrating to either see a desirable item disappear almost as fast as you saw it, or to be deluded into thinking that even though you might be able to select it, by the time you went through the normal ordering process (as opposed to the Rocket function in Ultraviner), at the very end you found you couldn't get it - someone else already did, maybe even as you first spotted it.

At first, I kept trying to snag the good stuff. But, time after time it was an exercise in futility, regardless of the time of day that the drop occurred.

It took me a month or two of utter frustration before I finally gave up trying. Instead, I waited patiently for something good to appear in my RFY bin. Even then, there have been times when it was sniped before I could order it.

Now, like so many others, I realize that after making Gold two times in a row, it's probably the last time I'll achieve it unless something changes with Amazon's current Vine system.

I hoped that I would finally get a chance to grab a large screen TV, a fancy BBQ grill, a PC or laptop, or some other expensive offering. Nope, nothing like that happened for me. The best I have been able to get in my RFY was a nice $200 leather coat, another $200 item - a full body massaging with heat pad, and yet another $200 item, a wi-fi 30 day pill dispenser.

After reaching the 6 month "do what you want with it" point, I gave away a lot of the semi-decent things like candles, a golf club, some billiards supplies, and a few baking items I didn't really need.

The addiction is gone. I only check my RFY bin, and that's when I think about it. 2 months into my 3rd term, I only have about 20 reviews under my belt. To date, I have over 400, but no longer feel the investment of my time is justified by the minimal returns I am getting.

The extensions, particularly Ultraviner make it an uneven playing field. I looked at it, played with it for a day or two, but ultimately decided it wasn't for me.

So I'm focusing on the positive. Thanks to the poaching and slim pickings, I'm no longer addicted to the process of grabbing as much as I can, whether it's useful to me or not. I have more time for fun things that don't frustrate me. My wife likes it that there's less clutter. Somehow I feel liberated.

Soooo happy! Best vine score yet.

I’ve wanted to get a second bidet toilet seat for our kids bathroom for ages (we already have one in ours) and last night, Vine delivered! It’s perfect because I didn’t really want them having too many complicated settings to deal with. And the ETV was half the actual sales price, so that was a bonus!

I’m just super excited and had to share with people who will relate to my joy 🥰

Its not TVs, Robot mowers, or AC units.. But this was is easily in my top five scores of all time after 5+ years in vine lol.

As a guy who loves to work on cars and owns a lot of big machinery like CNC machines and lathes, this WD-40 is a great find. I actually already own every type of this stuff already. A new kind would pop up on my RYF every two hours lol. For reference, I have ordered some of these WD-40 sprays from amazon in the past, so might be why I got them on my RFY.

An interesting thing about these though that some of the newer viners might want to pay attention to. These were all sold by amazon itself. So they got the amazon ETV discount. (For some reason amazon discounts the ETV of items it is selling. Which is different from most of the 3rd party sellers. This discount can range from 10% to 100%)

Almost all of these 6 packs where $79.99 retail. Some are zero items as you can see. Others have a 50-55% discount. One is $37.60. Another $38.48. Then $39.08. I've seen lots of different levels of this discount and don't have a clue why certain things get certain amounts.

Books will be 50% a lot of the time, but those are pretty rare. I saw someone posting a photo of a kitchenaid espresso machine yesterday that was at 15%. The most common amount is probably 30% though.

This is just something to keep in mind when looking at items. If amazon is the seller, then the item is less of a gamble because of the lower ETV.
