Looking for Fun Ideas for RAV4 Prime XSE

Hey everyone,

I just officially paid off my 2024 Toyota RAV4 Prime XSE and want to make it a fun project vehicle. I already have all-terrain tires installed, but now I am looking to do some proper modifications and technology upgrades.

I am completely comfortable taking panels off, doing wiring, or taking parts of the vehicle apart to get the job done right. I would love to hear what projects you have done on your own Prime that were actually worth the time and effort.

Here are a few specific areas I have done, but looking for more!

  • Sound deadening and quietness: Adding sound-dampening material inside the doors, floorboards, and rear trunk area to cut down on road and tire noise. (DONE)
  • Audio and interior electronics: Upgrading the factory speakers, adding an amplifier, or installing integrated front and rear dash cameras. (DONE)
  • Utility lighting: Adding brighter internal light. (I Added LED lights but not much else)
  • Skid and protection: Replaced the plastic with an aluminum skid plate. (DONE)

If you have done any of these (or other fun DIY projects), what made the biggest difference for you? What should I avoid?

Thanks for any suggestions and advice!

Good News Android Users!!! - Remote Start

Hey all! After meeting with the Washington State attorney general and our arbitrators, Toyota has informed me that they will have a fix for the Android up immediately. Make sure to update your Toyota app because they said rather than them buying back my car due to mold damage, they have seemingly resolved the issue for Android users being able to use the defrost function in the remote start.

I am testing today but this looks like it may solve all my issues with the vehicle.

Targeted RFY for 3 Days?

Hey everyone, I am curious, has anyone else had their RFY so targeting it wasn't funny? I have for the past 2 rounds of RFY been mostly Temmis covers for cars. I did get these a while back and left a pretty negative review. The crazy part is I do not even have a BMW X3, I have a Prius and have never had a BMW. I do not get car parts often, and they are $40-$60 each, so don't even want to touch it.

Has anyone seen this kind of thing before?>

100 Tambourines - I wish I had space - cool stuff.

TL;DR: Does anyone have a good sorting system for Vine items that works well for the 6-month cool off period?

So, saw this one today, just over $200. I was tempted to get it and then donate to a local elementary school after 6 months but I don't have the space for so many.

This made me realize, I really need a good sorting system to donate vine stuff after the cool down period, like a plan to review, shove in a box with a date, then 6 months later, boom donate the whole box. Well, time to clean out the garage.

I am wondering if anyone has good sorting system other than 6 boxes?

Best of luck whoever gets these after they leave my RFY!
