UK family moving to western Sydney

We are a young family of 4 moving from the UK to western Sydney.

We're looking for 2-3 bd house with a garden but we have a budget of $650 per week.

We have found quite a few on realestate websites but we have no idea if the areas are safe and family friendly.

At some point we will be able in increase our budget once we have settled in and both adults are working full time.

What are people's thoughts on pendle Hill, Wentworth, auburn, toongabbie, North mead ?

Safety and great schools are the priority, so if we need to look for apartments and change to a better location, we are open to that.

TIA

How can we encourage diversity and inclusion in ethnic enclaves?

I grew up around Parramatta's surrounding suburbs since the early 2000's. I've noticed that my suburb particularly knocked down buildings for the purposes of redevelopment/apartments. Additionally, there has been a big influx of one cultural group opening up businesses around the train line. Whilst I have no issues with particular cultural groups or businesses, I wish there were more options available to those not of this cultural group. For example, the majority of businesses around Wentworthville/Pendle Hill/Toongabbie train lines are operated by Desi people. I don't want to have to travel all the way to another suburb for Italian food, African food or Japanese food. According to the Census data, people of Indian descent make up the majority of this area. However, there are still others not of this cultural background that make up this region.

Why can we not encourage greater cultural diversity within communities? I believe in doing, we'd be able to strengthen community relationships and improve our suburbs for all residents.

What is the single biggest issue that every single Western Sydney local can actually agree on?

No matter if you live out near Penrith, down in Campbelltown, or closer to Bankstown, what is the one headache that affects absolutely all of us out west?

What’s the one thing every local is sick of dealing with?

Trying to get anywhere from places like Box Hill or Marsden Park without a car is a nightmare. You are either stuck waiting ages for a connecting bus that may or may not even show up, or you are forced to drive and sit in traffic on roads that clearly were never designed for this many people

What’s the biggest issue people actually agree on across Western Sydney suburbs regardless of location?

Genuine question across all of Western Sydney, no matter the suburb, what do you reckon is the one issue that most people would agree on? For me it feels like long commute times and car dependence, whether that’s sitting in traffic on the M4 or just how long it takes to get anywhere without a train
