Joel Piroe set for West Ham medical ahead of proposed move from Leeds
Leeds United have granted striker Joel Piroe permission to undergo a medical at West Ham United.
The Championship side are closing in on signing the 27-year-old on loan with an obligation to buy.
Piroe was viewed as a top transfer target by head coach Nuno Espirito Santo and the recruitment team. His track record in the second tier was also a key factor.
Tickets for Darby
Coming from USA for visit. Anyone know how I can get tickets for Derby game. Thank you
Edited: for typo of Derby.
So this is what it's like to support West Ham, huh?
Funny story, at least I think so.
American here. A few years ago, I was in London and I wanted to see a Premier League game—any Premier League game—and we wound up at West Ham.
It wasn’t a great match, but since I'd seen them in person I started following the team. I wasn't truly a fan—watched a lot of other games too, but I paid attention.
Of course, they got relegated. And I felt like I wasn't totally committed so I could move on.
But something came over me recently and I told my wife:
>“Screw it. WHTID. When they make it back, it will be fun to say I paid for an extra TV subscription just to watch them in the EFL Championship.”
Honestly, my explanation was a lot longer than that, but she isn't really into sports and doesn't care except that I care. Still, my birthday is coming up and I am notoriously hard to buy for, so I now expect a ton of West Ham merch.
Also, I don’t know another West Ham supporter personally, which makes it kind of fun. Everyone I know supports Liverpool, Arsenal, Tottenham, Man City or Fulhamerica
But I thought, heck with it. I’m in. So, today—of all days!—was the first time I sat down in my West Ham sweatshirt to watch, feeling like a true (if new) supporter.
Is this what it's like?
(By the way, after Argentina against England in the World Cup, haven’t we all learned never to sit back on a 1–0 lead?)
Anyway, I’m in now regardless. Maybe someday it will pay off! I've got a long history of choosing the triumph of hope over experience.
Come on you Irons!
Sooo how was it?
As someone who was not able to watch the game but can see the results etc.
How did we do?
When the lineups were published i was quite confused to as why Scarles was starting ober Diouf and seeing he and Pablo is getting alot of hate on the instagram page. I'm all for Nuno making the choices after all he spends 7days a week with these guys and i watch games on tv..
What happened in the last 10min?
From subs i'm guessing we parked it with 5 backs and bottled it by parking the buss?
How did the rest of the guys do?
Hopefully ill be able to watch the next game but yeah
Scarles
I’ve always been a huge fan of Scarles and the pen aside I think he played fucking unreal and deserves to start over Diouf. Thoughts?
tickets for west ham charlton
hey everyone i have 2 tickets for west ham charlton this weekend, but unfortunately i can’t attend the match. Anyone wants them?
On this day in 2008 Dean Ashton scored twice as West Ham began the Premier League season with a 2-1 victory over a Wigan Athletic at Upton Park in front of 32,758. These would be the last goals Ashton would score for the club.

Would you take Vardy?
New fan here
Lads. What’s up yall.
Just moved to east London. West ham are my local. So now this is my fate for the rest of forever.
Been reading up, watching videos, learning the history of the team.
Lived in Portland in the U.S. so I am a Timbers fan.
Went to most every match as I lived across the street. Waited in line for wristbands for ga seating in the Timbers army. Knew the best ways to go about for tickets and such. Knew the the ritual so to speak.
Anyone have tips and tricks for what I should know about gameday experience plus maybe some things yall feel I should learn beforehand so I’m not an absolute twat? I am stoked for this season (my girlfriend who got an American boyfriend and is being pulled into footy maybe not as stoked lmao)
Thanks yall.
Oh, Captain, my Captain! (Bowen appreciatation video)

First Timer
Planning to go to West Ham game on Tuesday, September 1st from USA. Looking into the Londoner hospitality level and am a little confused because the listing says "Ticket Only Seating" and then there is this blurb:
"Paying homage to the East End, enjoy all the pre-match atmosphere in this casual and relaxed lounge just seconds from padded seat for all the action.
The Londoner Package
• Please note this is a Ticket Only package
• Access to The Londoner 2 ½ hours prior to kick-off and 1 ¼ hours after the final whistle*
• Corner flag seating on the middle tier
• Complimentary matchday programme and Half Time drink
• Chance to see Former Players in the lounge
*For mid-week fixtures, the lounge will open at 5:30pm and close at 10:30pm."
What does Ticket Only Seating mean exactly? And since this is a 3pm mid-week fixture, is this lounge even going to be open per the "For mid-week fixtures, the lounge will open at 5:30pm and close at 10:30pm."
This is so different than buying tickets in the US and I'm so not familiar with the area!
