Valdosta, GA March 2015

This magnificent specimen was located on the Valdosta State University campus. These are my photos, but I left Valdosta shortly after they were taken.

What species was it? And is there any chance of intentional propagation in my yard in Columbia, SC?

Need help identifying, US, Kentucky

These grow in just one of my potters daily. They usually die by the evening with the sun but today has been rainy and they grew quite a bit today. Just wondering what they are exactly.

ID help? Found in US, Western New York

Hello! I'm hoping for a double check on what I believe are some yellow morels I found in my yard? I looked them up in my mushroom field guide and it seems like they check all the boxes.

Harvested today (May 20) in the Western New York area. They were growing underneath my maple and (possibly) beechnut tree.

Who’s popping up in my garden? Central TX USA

These have popped up in my garden and google is giving me mixed results. My toddler is often in the garden with me so I’d love to know what these are! Located in central Texas, USA. Thanks y’all!

Found this little bugger next to my garden bed while weeding. Albany NY.

The bed is full sun but the side he was on gets a good amount of shade from the wall of the bed.

Compost fungi?

Hi helpful people! Anyone know if this is the harmless and/or beneficial fungi that I’ve read about, oozing out of the side of my compost bin? And hopefully not an old smushed tomato mutating into a slime monster, which is kinda what it looks like? 😅
(Plant ID app was not very helpful; iNaturalist thinks it’s a sea creature)

Cut hackberry logs in Eastern South Dakota

Just wondering what these actually are. Noticed them while cleaning up the woodpile from some hackberry trees. Huron, SD USA

southeastern US - can’t find anything online

I think they might be related to a high density of dog feces nearby but not sure. Don’t know much about fungi and just curious to learn more.

Are these true morels? Found in Central Massachusetts.

These seem promising but wondering if they could be lookalikes.

Just curious what these are. I have 2 young children and pets and will likely rip these out for safety.
