Auto-EPG and error recovery

I think the player is great, but these two issues have been bothering me. Some other players can automatically fetch the EPG based on the playlist URL. I’ve been using a mixed playlists, and I miss having that feature.

Sometimes, when switching channels very quickly, I get a 500 error; I know the issue lies with the playlist itself, but the player doesn't attempt to reconnect if I stay on that channel. That isn't the ideal behavior.

Powers that grant an extra charge are the laziest thing in Stadium.

I’m glad they finally removed two-zuo from the game, but double charges of Concussive Blast, Trap, and Flash Heal are really annoying to play against. Blizzard has already made it clear that they want build variety, and all these extra charge abilities seem to have a 99.99% pick rate from what I’ve seen.

And the worst part is the combination of them. A pocketed Pharah becomes ridiculous this season.

Mei’s “Ice Refill” or Wuyang’s mini wave are much more intelligent and healthier approaches for the game.

Power Block is the worst-designed ability in the game.

I know a lot of people hate Hack, Suzu, Nade, etc. But these are abilities that are rewarding for at least one side most of the time and give you a good feeling when you manage to avoid them. Power Block is the opposite of that. I think Doomfist's greatest characteristic is extreme mobility; standing still and taking damage completely goes against that concept, and for those playing against him, it's absolutely horrible to watch a Doomfist blocking, or worse, to see someone on your team shooting at him and you being penalized for it. Even if you completely ignore Doomfist while he's defending, it's still bad because his cooldowns are short and the perk makes him even worse to play against without counters.

I know 5v5 is the main mode of the game and that we have to accept that super tanks are here to stay, but I think it's absurd that a tank with such high offensive capabilities has such a frustrating defensive ability, especially in 6v6 and Stadium where there's another tank to frontline or it's commonplace to activate "Empowered Punch".

Cache problem / Weird boot

As you use the app and test photos and videos as backgrounds, these things are being allocated as data in the app. There is no option within the app to clear them, and when checking the application size through the system, I see about 1 GB of data and a few KB in cache. This is a serious problem for me; I use a dongle with 8 GB of storage. I tested some videos to use as backgrounds and removed most of them, even from the device's memory, but they remain available in the app and are taking up space. The only current solution is to clear the data, which requires reconfiguring the entire app.

I also wanted to take this opportunity to report another problem:

The boot behavior is inconsistent on my dongle (Xiaomi Mi Stick 4K 2nd Gen) using Monet: the Google TV screen appears, the icons start loading, and then I'm taken to Monet, then to Google TV, and then back to Monet again. Sometimes I don't even get to Google TV again. I enabled all 6 launcher options for it to work fully, and it still behaved this way. I even disabled the Google TV launcher via ADB to see if that would fix it, but that didn't work either. While the screen loads, sometimes you can quickly see an error message like "something wrong, check that Google Play is enabled..." Sometimes the device would even restart after the error when Google TV was disabled. The most consistent thing I did to improve the behavior was to use an app to remap the remote's home button to Monet and another app to add Monet to startup. This startup app takes a long time for Monet to open; it seems to wait for everything to be loaded on Google TV before opening, but I don't see any error messages. I imagine the biggest culprit is how Google TV works, but perhaps it would be interesting to implement the remap and startup functions in the launcher. Or, if possible, delay the launcher's startup to wait for Google services to load and avoid generating errors, but here I'm just speculating.
