Some info; (feel free to skip)

My dad raised me. And he did it with the help of his parents, my grandparents. I love him and my grandparents more than anyone on this planet. (More than Dolly Parton, MJ, and Keanu Reeves even lol)

Throughout my whole life, I have been the closest to my grandma. She predicted my birth, gave me my native name, she raised me, comforted me throughout EVERY single bad thing, taught me about the world, and more… She has been gone for eight years now, and my dad constantly says I resemble her so much it’s scary. I look like her sometimes, sound like her sometimes, smell like her sometimes, talk in the same way she did, and love the same things she did.

But in the end, he was her baby. So this is probably why he dreamed of her last night.

The dream; (as he re-enacted it to me)

He was in a disabled person’s cart — like the ones at supermarkets — going along a path in a casino.

He remembers the machines, remembers the sounds. All he could see were the machines and spots directly around him, so it looked like a packed casino in real life, but if he looked beyond, it was empty. And this whole place was dim. Like a speakeasy. Dim ceiling lights, dim machine lights, dim everything.

He turned a corner, and saw a woman, and kept going. Then after a moment passed, he stopped and backed up, realizing it was his mom.

She was sitting at a machine, legs crossed, leaning her body and arm on the armrest of the chair, in the same direction her legs were crossed.

He said; “Mom? Mom, is that you? Mom? What are you doing here?”

She said; “Hi, honey.”

He asked again; “What are you doing here?”

She said; “Me and the guys…”

He said; “What guys? Mom, what guys?”

And then he suddenly saw two other guys come up. Like shadows coming into focus.

One was his brother, long dead. He saw him as he did when he was young. The other was his second father and my second grandpa. (His father figure and my grandpa figure, basically.) But last we knew… he was alive.

From that point on, he couldn’t see any of their faces. Not grandma’s, not the guys. It was weird for grandma, though… since she had black hair which she cut short in her later years. But from then on, she had long blonde hair, covering her face like a veil.

She said; “Me and the guys are going to ***.”

He couldn’t hear the last part very well, but he is pretty dang sure as to what she said. And they are very sacred grounds for us, with ancient spirits.

He doesn’t remember anymore details until the end of his dream. When she said; “It was good to see you, honey…”

He said it all felt like it lasted 30 seconds.

And he said it feels like it ended in a bad way…

He saw her as she was in her middle-age years, with a red outfit. Warm red pants, red blouse with flowers all over it. The other two family members and her had no ailments anymore… No oxygen tanks… no pain in their bodies… nothing. In their favorite outfits. With their favorite accessories.

I don’t know what to interpret this as… but to me, it feels like she was warning him that she’s… moving on now…

I hope this is not because her home and place of rest was violated… (our home was broken into a short while back — a LOT of her things are gone… and we’re dug through. Thankfully, it *seems* like her small spot, flowers, and box were untouched, though…)

He said it just feels weird. It was weird at the end. And I feel worried.
