How/why would Ryan lose his powers in The Boys?

I thought he was all natural. He was born with powers right?

His abilities didn’t come from V, so there was no V in his blood to zap from his system.

I was looking at flights from Chile to Canada.

On a Sunday & Monday there were multiple (~6) options to book a flight operated by Copa through AirFrance.

I select one flight, I am able to select it and boots me because I don’t have enough points. I transfer the Amex points, try to book, click pay and never get a confirmation (payment isn’t taken either).

I try to book again but it isn’t showing that same flight available (multiple other flights are still there).

I call Flying Blue to see if they can rebook it for me but they can’t. I then ask the guy to book me one of the other flights, none of them will let him book.

While I am on the phone trying to book simultaneously, all the flight options from Copa disappear for both days. The cheapest fare goes from 27k to 55k (offered by another carrier) as well.

A bit aggravating but at least I know I’ll use those points later with them but how have they not fixed this issue?

I booked direct with a LHW property in Malaga. During checkout I didn’t see any place to put my membership number but thought I would just call them afterwards and get it all straightened out. I called and they said my Sterling doesn’t apply when I book with them. Not sure if this is property specific or all.

I called LHW but they can’t see the reservation so they aren’t able to do anything.

I understand not getting certain status benefits when booking through Amex Travel or other portals.
I suppose I looked at LHW like Hilton/Marriott/IHG but different. Somewhere between them and a true 3rd party site.

Just thought I throw that out there so you all make sure you book through LHW to get your status benefits.
