How would you describe Arthur and Garth’s relationship?

From what I’ve read their relationship seems a bit more complicated than the other sidekick mentor relationships in DC. It has always felt like maybe Garth looked up to Arthur as a father figure, but Arthur didn’t see him as a son.

Is it a hot take to say that this is the absolute best of DC’s silver age?

I love the silver age more than any other era of comics, and this is personally my favorite silver age DC book. It was absolutely inspired by the Fantastic Four, but for me that’s great. It takes the sympathetic hero trope that marvel pioneered and takes it to the extreme with such a lovable gang of misfits.

I found a lot of the numbered Captain America Omnis for cheap, and was wondering if the material is good

I’ve been wanting to start a Captain America collection recently and was thinking about getting these before I read Gruenwald’s cap

Got this beautiful boy today. Sad that Vol 2 has seemingly gone out of print, but I’ll get it one day.

Cool find at Ollie’s. Huge fan of Hulk but never read any Shulkie before, so I’m excited to read it.
