Should I pursue economics or switch to engineering

Hey! I am a Economics student in the University of Bologna. I realized after looking online, this is an extremely prestige dependent field, and was wondering if it is better for me to switch to maybe mechanical or electrical engineering at the polytechnic university of milan. I talked to some seniors pursuing Econ masters at Bocconi and LSE and they advised me to take stem subjects like maths or stats. My only objective is to land a high paying job, preferabbly something to do with economics, and I see that major banks prefer hiring engineering graduates from polimi compared to econ grads from bologna as well! I am good at maths and physics, so I can handle engineering course work, it's just that economics interested me more and why I decided to pursue it in the first place. Any advice on this is highly appreciated!

Thanks!

From a third world country, going to a non target and dont speak the native language. What do I do? Do I just stay in my home country? Need suggestions fast!

Going to be studying at University of Bologna as a finance student. Looking at this sub, even if I get top grades, getting an internship is next to impossible without speaking fluent italian(which is not possible at least for the next year or two) , but the job market in italy looks so shit for new grads, I dont even know if learning italian is worth it. And seems like except the UK and the USA, if I get a degree from top targets in the continental europe, ill most likely not get a job cause I am not from an eu country and have to return to my home country. Feeling really confused if I should pursue this path.

All the posts I see are network aggresively and you will get it eventually, but how do I actually do that? I dont know italian and my citizenship absolutely fucks me from looking for jobs as well.

Students in the same situation as me, what did you guys do to succeed? Thanks!

How is Bec-llb at KUSOL?

Hello! I was wondering how good the Bec program is at KU. I initially wanted to study economics, and then saw this option, so planning to do this. How is the course work? Is it hard. I did all sciences in my A levels, so pretty confident in my math skills, but am pretty trash at Nepali, so would it be a good option? Thanks!

Edit:BTW is this course taught in Dhulikhel or hattiban?

How hard do you think learning german would by only consuming german media(like movies and vids)

Hey, I am a asian who is studying undergrad at italy and speak 3 languages . I am learning italian to be competent enough for a job and would also like to learn german so I can maybe search for jobs in switzerland and germany. I learnt my second language, in about a year exclusively watching cartoons and movies. Would this work for German in your opinion? I also had a 500 day german language streak in duolingo(lmao, doesnt know if it helps). Any advice is helpful!.Thanks!
