The cemetery was turned into a park in 1970s, but a lot of monuments were left there. Some were left to be taken by nature (they have little fence around them and a warning not to enter). The biggest chapel in the cemetery, you can actually rent it for events (!!!). I fell in live with this place, it scratches the gothic itch in me.
And that this subreddit would like it.
I've never really thought of it as cottagecore. I kind of lean into solarpunk more (as you can see by the flag on the sleeve, btw).
Several patches (TARDIS, Frida, flower book, Sempiternal symbol, Bad Omens ghost) were embroidered by me. I also embroidered the pattern around solarpunk flag. The crochet flower is a gift from my mom (I love her)
I like this jacket a lot. I started to patch it cause it started to fall apart... and now, it holds, and it's quite pretty, too, if I may say so myself.

Hi, it's been a while 🥰 here is yet another post about my pastel "a bit o'this&that" jacket.
I'm quite proud of the ghost patch (Bad Omens - iykyk), I embroidered it myself, I think it looks quite cute. And in general, I'm very happy with the back, with Bad Omens, BMTH, Chelsea Wolfe and other patches that hold sentimental value.
The front is a mess :D But I managed to add iamthemorning patch (it's a band, I LOVE THEM) and a tongue-in-cheek BMTH reference that makes me chuckle.
Anyway. I think I'm gonna run out of space soon... 🥲 But I think I can still fit in a thing or two. Or maybe not? What do you think?
