New to sax - recommended guides/jumping off points (alto)?

Buying an alto sax tomorrow, looking for some solid guides:

Pieces/parts - afaik the mouth piece I should look for is a 4c, reeds idk what to look for or how often to change etc.

Other accessories - I've seen the neck straps but are these necessary? Any other worth having (it's got a hard case, idk if a stand is necessary)

How to clean/maintain it and what tools do I need to do so?

It's got some beginners books but any other links/sources would be appreciated

Crave meat sometimes but genuinely hate the taste now?

Maybe a bit of an odd/controversial topic, but does anyone else get the occasional day where you just really get bad meat cravings? It's very rare, maybe a couple times a year max.

I sometimes seem to get these around my period (but take supplements and donate blood regularly so I know I'm not anemic) so idk if it's hormone related or what.

Anyways, once when I'd been veggie around a year I tried one of my mates chicken tenders to see if it'd crush the craving (figured one and done), but I HATED the taste and texture tbh. Obviously as well my body doesn't really deal with meat well anymore so it also gave me bad stomach cramps despite having literally 1 tender lmao (serves me right).

I've got it right now, and I just kinda wondered if other people experience this/what you do to deal with it? The weird part is normally the thought of meat now genuinely repulses me a bit (sounds pretentious but I'm being genuine) so I don't really know what to do

First top would obv be worn with a vest underneath, so no bra/major skin showing.

Looking for some summer options and finding long sleeved shirts and jumpers (my usual go to) a bit too much, but like this style of top.

Found squeaky bean steak strips recently, they're delish but I can't consistently get them sadly. Also I'd say they work better in more mexican style foods, I don't find they work as well in asian/soy heavy dishes.

Looking for more options, even recipes would be welcomed as long as it's not crazy expensive or time consuming lol - probably why I tend to buy this sort of thing
