How do riders get sponsored by brands?

There are the "influencers" who have an online presence and enough traction to become brand ambassadors, basically like sales people for the brand. They are not necessarily elite equestrians, just people with followers. I get how that works, but I'm wondering about the riders who are professionals and are affiliated with the big brands. Like the riders on the international circuit. Some don't even have social accounts but they work with brands and ride in their equipment. How does that come about?

must ... keep ... reading...

I hereby vouch not to buy another book until I get through all 37 of my TBRs. I'm aiming to have them all read within the year. The classic box sets have been handed down from my mother's collection and the other's are a hodgepodge of book swaps and thrifts (apart from my Alexander McCall Smith's). It's been really fun reading such a wide range of genres and its really driven home the point of never judging a book by its cover! Not going to lie though, I already have a cheeky shopping list ready and waiting for my next additions hehe.

Books pictured are organised based on genre. Do any of these titles jump out at you?

Doing my nails on the right hand v left hand

I just finished doing my manicure and I am very clearly better at one hand than the other. Is this is a common problem?

Please excuse the short nail on each hand, I had a breakage and I'm trying to grow them back.
