IDBI Visa Signature PayWave Debit Card: 4 Lounge Visits Every Quarter? ✈️

The IDBI Bank Visa Signature PayWave Debit Card could be an interesting option for frequent travellers who want lounge access through a debit card.

✈️ 4 complimentary lounge visits per calendar quarter at participating airport lounges in India
💳 Annual fee: ₹799 + applicable taxes
⭐ Also offers 3 loyalty points for every ₹100 spent at merchant locations

That works out to a potential 16 lounge visits per year, subject to the participating lounge list and applicable terms.

The interesting part is that IDBI's official card page lists the lounge benefit without mentioning a quarterly spend requirement. However, it's worth checking your card's eligibility and the current lounge list before travelling.

Has anyone used the IDBI Visa Signature Debit Card for lounge access recently? Is it available with regular savings accounts, or does it depend on the account variant?

Equitas Selfe Credit Card: 4 Lounge Visits a Year — No Spend Requirement?

The Equitas Selfe Credit Card doesn't get mentioned much in airport lounge discussions, but its lounge benefit is quite straightforward.

✈️ 1 complimentary domestic lounge visit per calendar quarter
📅 Up to 4 complimentary visits per year
💳 No minimum spend requirement mentioned for lounge access

The card does have spending conditions for things like an annual-fee waiver, but the lounge benefit itself is listed separately by Equitas.

Has anyone here used the Equitas Selfe Credit Card for lounge access recently? Which lounges have you used it at?

RuPay Debit Card Lounge Access: The ₹5,000 Spend Rule Many People Miss

RuPay debit-card lounge access isn't as straightforward as it used to be.

For many eligible RuPay debit cards, simply holding the card isn't enough anymore. Access can depend on meeting the required spending criteria during the previous quarter.

For example, depending on the bank and card variant, you may need to meet a specified POS/e-commerce spending threshold before complimentary lounge access becomes available in the following quarter.

This is something worth checking before assuming your RuPay debit card will get you into the lounge for free.

If you use a RuPay debit card for lounge access, check LoungeInsider before your trip to see the current eligibility, required spend, number of complimentary visits, and eligible lounge/terminal.

Has anyone recently been denied lounge access on a RuPay debit card because they hadn't met the spending requirement?

Your Credit Card Has Lounge Access. But Is It Still Free?

Airport lounge access used to be one of the easiest credit-card benefits to understand: meet the eligibility criteria, show your card, and enter.

But things have changed quite a bit. Many cards now have quarterly spending requirements, changed visit limits, different domestic/international rules, or specific lounge networks.

So having “airport lounge access” mentioned in your card's benefits doesn't necessarily mean you can walk into a lounge for free on your next trip.

Before every flight, it makes sense to check:

  • Is my card still eligible?
  • Do I need to meet a spending requirement?
  • How many complimentary visits are remaining?
  • Does my departure terminal have an eligible lounge?
  • Is the access complimentary or chargeable?

Want to check all of this before your flight? LoungeInsider lets you check your card’s lounge eligibility, visit limits, spend requirements, and eligible lounge/terminal in one place.

When Your Credit Card Promises Lounge Access 😂

Credit card: “You have free lounge access.” 😍

The lounge: “Yes, but first… please stand in this queue.” 😭😂

The real lounge benefit is learning patience.

Has anyone experienced this?

When should I recharge this plan to keep the sim active?

The last time I recharged was with the ₹189 plan on May 21st. My question now is: should I recharge now to keep the SIM active, or wait until after a month (28 days)?

Is the 90-day grace period calculated from the time of the recharge or from when the recharge plan expires? That is primarily what I want to know.

Any way to recharge rs.189 plan outside of MyJio and jio.com?

I want to recharge rs.189 plan multiple times and stake it for 6 to 12 months for my family members (to save some bucks from price hike). But I want to get benefit of discount from Paytm or any other such platforms offering discount. Right now, it's available only in MyJio app and jio[com]com.

So, is there any way to recharge value plan like 189 outside of MyJio or jio[com]com
