👋 Welcome to r/MLBScoreboards - Introduce Yourself and Read First!

Hey everyone! I'm u/0xgod, founding moderator of r/MLBScoreboards and creator of the MLB Scoreboard App.

This is our new home for following MLB games together, in real time. Every game on the schedule gets its own thread with a live scoreboard built right in — the score, a full box score, play-by-play, scoring plays, and a win-probability chart, all updating pitch by pitch while the game is on. When a game ends, a final thread posts automatically with the result. Whether you live and die with one team or just love baseball, this is a place to watch the game and talk it out as it happens.

What to post

The game threads post themselves — so the easiest way to jump in is to find the thread for a game that's on and start reacting. Beyond that, post whatever the community would enjoy: hot takes, questions, trades and news, standings talk, or a great play you just saw. If it's about baseball, it belongs here. (Keep live-game reactions in that game's thread so the scoreboard stays the center of the action.)

Community vibe

Friendly, constructive, and open to fans of all 30 teams. Root hard and talk a little trash in good fun, but keep it respectful — this should be a place anyone can feel comfortable jumping into.

How to get started

  1. Introduce yourself in the comments — tell us who you root for.
  2. Find a live game thread and jump in, or start a baseball conversation of your own.
  3. Know someone who'd love this? Invite them to join.
  4. Interested in helping out? I'm always looking for moderators — reach out to apply.

Thanks for being part of the very first wave. Let's build something great here.
