FSD V14.3.2 - Slams brakes for a bird crossing 🦅 🤔
FSD slams brakes to avoid a bird hit. There was a car behind who probably got pissed off.
Tesla to Launch FSD v14.3 with Spring Update Features Soon
I am looking forward to “Hey Grok”
Are you?
Tesla Vision can deploy airbags before the actual collision!
This is so cool!
Tesla Vision allows us to deploy airbags up to 70 milliseconds earlier if your Tesla detects an unavoidable collision
This can be the difference between serious injury & walking away from a crash
I didn’t notice the little animal coming… I was looking for any tire marks that caused the sudden braking and then I saw the little guy fearlessly crossing the road.
Most of the things work well. To me i felt the change is very minimal as V14.2.2.5 was perfect for me.
One thing that has consistently failed for me is pulling out of my garage.
In V14.2.2.5 I don’t need to touch the wheel. Put the address and click “Start Self Driving”
Now with V14.3.2 I have to manually drive the car out at least half way before I hit “Start Self Driving”
I hope and know this will be fixed soon. But until then it’s a step backward for my use cases.
Here is a video of what I am talking about -> https://youtu.be/mojrUarUP9k?si=vZ4PoEmO6KWHoM7S
Some people have reported that you cannot restart FSD without giving the feedback on why your disengaged FSD.
That is not true.
I am able to restart any number of times.
Did anyone with MX HW4 and FSD receive the spring update with “Hey Grok”?
I received v14.3.2 yesterday but waiting for “Hey Grok” more than the FSD update…
2023 MXP
I received V14.3.2 yesterday and tried for the first time this morning.
Turn signals does cause a lane change.
One problem I noticed is it struggled to come out of a tight garage. I had to take over. V14.2.2.5 did that with ease.
I have been noticing that my 2023 MXP swings for a half a second and then FSD course corrects when it goes on man holes or pot holes.
I thought it was normal until yesterday when I was driving a friend’s HW3 model y and it was stable while on FSD and after going over man holes.
Is this something I should get SC checked? May be something wrong with suspension?
I once tried taking a video on the phone, but iPhone auto-corrects those movements. I tried to save Tesla dashcam - but it’s hardly noticeable there. So I don’t have a video.
I don’t drive manually. May be I should try driving manually and see if it would behave the same way.
Anyone experienced anything like this before?
