Apparently the Engineers are unhappy with having been given a 0% increase for 2027/2028/2029 in wages for their union arbitration on wage increases meanwhile the Deckhands will be be making 25%-30% more.
This is kinda insane to me because don't engineers have to have alot more knowledge on how the boats operate and keep them running!?
I'm planning on driving from Spokane to Butte sometime through Oct to December, anyone have experience with the winters up there?
What type of environment should I expect
Will there be snow,
Will I need chains on my tires,
What items should I keep handy
I just love this thing a little too much

We got it here, hell yeah. I wanted a .50bmg for a while but couldn't decide on which one. Now that's a Lahti damage to my wallet
Efforts are being made by people from Arizona and even Poland to help restore the furniture on this piece.
To my knowledge there is only 1 other 20mm L39 in WA (near Oregon border)
Legal notes:
-This L39 is chambered in .50bmg, not 20mm, this has been taken off NFA
-This particular firearm is not semi auto
-No gas port was made from the sleeved down barrel, gas cannot unlock the bolt requiring user to crank bolt open after each round
-Cartridges must be knocked out with a dowel, like a weird breech loader
-Abiding by all WA laws, this firearm should be legal as a single shot rifle
-Alternatively this could be a "firearm" as it is definitely not designed to be fired freestanding from shoulder
One of the rarer WW2 AT rifles, ~2,600 ever made in history, only 1,000 imported into the states and ~250-300 converted to .50bmg singleshot, and about ~40 are semi-auto .50bmg,

Do people hike with milsurp often? how common is/was hiking with an RPK/PKM or large equivilant rifles? I'm thinking about taking the BAR or 1919 on a hike for some pictures soon π
