Should i continue birth control or not ?

Hi, i’m 16F, i was diagnosed with PCOS when i was 11, i’m on Glucophage 1000XR to control my insulin resistance and PCOS. i’m not overweight but i’m still prone to it. This was just for a background.

I got off Yasmin(birth control) in February and i’ve been having regular periods ever since. Today my period was a day late and that’s how the mess up of my menstrual cycle usually starts, whenever i get off birth control. Yasmin has had very positive impacts on my PCOS over the few years, though it does make me unimaginably tired.

My doctor told me it was up to me whether or not i wanted to continue taking Yasmin or just wait and see if my period stayed consistent w/o taking the birth control. My mom thinks that i should wait and see if menstrual cycle’s regular w/o the birth control, but i feel like it’s really skeptical as whenever i have gotten off the birth control it has never stayed consistent for more than a few months.

what i’ve noticed since i got off the birth control: my cravings have been crazy, facial hair is growing noticeably fast, high libido and i gained few grams but i’ve been eating the same amount of food. (nothing to be alarmed about though)

Is getting off worth trying or should i just go on Yasmin again?

Feeling unenergized after 8 hours

So, I’m a 16-year-old female, and whenever I get about five or six hours of sleep, I feel incredibly energetic but the energy fades away quite soon. However, when I get eight hours of sleep, I feel extremely tired and fatigued, which is quite troubling.

I’ve tried coffee and energy drinks, but neither seems to work for me. Coffee doesn’t provide any real energy boost, and energy drinks don’t energize me; instead, they only increase my heart rate. When I drink coffee, I immediately feel the need to take a nap, and I don’t wake up feeling more energized, still as tired as ever.

I have a very rigorous schedule next year, and I’m worried about how I’ll manage everything with this sleep problem.

By the way, I have PMOS and am insulin resistant, if that matters. Please help me or give advice.

Hi, I’m a sophomore and took the PSAT 10. I’m not a native speaker, so I struggle a little with English. I scored very low, and I’m worried it will hurt my chances of getting into a good college.

I’m taking Algebra 2 Honors and Geometry classes over the summer, so I believe that will improve my math score. I’m unsure about what to do for the English section, though.

I will do SAT prep since I won’t have time in the summer.
