One night near Heraklion

We're staying with a group of friends for a week in the Heraklion area. I mistakenly booked our flight out for one day after we check out of the place we're staying in the Agia Pelagia area. So we need to book something for one night that's within an hour or so of the Heraklion airport.

Obviously we could find something cheap nearby, but I'm wondering if anyone has suggestions for an interesting area that might make for a fun last day. We're more into nature (coastal or mountains) than nightlife. I'd like to turn my mistake into a fun opportunity!

Bird Pelvis?

We were at Cobble Beach in Newport on Mother's Day and someone had set this on one of the big rocks. It's super light and seems to be a seabird pelvis? Too big for a hull, I think. Does anyone have a better ID?

Just to add, it was an incredible day with pretty much nonstop whale sightings, seal pups (viewed from an appropriate distance) and perfect weather!

Beach Rock

I LOVE this pic. I've been doing some nature/macro shots with proper gear but this was a quick phone pic.

We were at the coast and I looked down and this is exactly what I saw. The rock is only about an inch across. 15 seconds later it was gone in the surf.

I guess I feel like I can't separate the context from the content. Idk if I'd like it if I thought it had been composed this way.

I also can't determine whether the lack of scale is a positive or a negative here.

7 free assorted mbuna cichlids ranging from 2" to 5". The biggest are the scrapermouth (trewavasei) and the Maingano. The rest are the result of funny business in the tank over the last few years.

Please know what you're getting into with mbuna. They've been easy to keep but it's time to change directions with this tank!

Sorry for the lousy pics. These guys don't hold still.

Local pick up in the Salem area.
