Value King! 2026 Diamondback Crimson 3.0

Hey guys,

I just picked up a new entry level bike for my wife and thought I would share my first impressions.

The bike is a Diamondback Crimson 3.0 and I picked it up at my local Sport Chek here in Canada. She wanted a bike for family rides that was also capable of some light singletrack. I stumbled across this bike and first noticed it has a Rockshox Recon and a SLX drivetrain. Upon further investigation it has a KS dropper, Maxxis Adrent TR tires, WTB i30 wheelset with shimano hubs and shimano MT-200 brakes.

I reached out to Diamondback and they were able to send me a size chart and geo chart right away. They also confirmed that the frame is boost spacing (12x148 and 15x110).

With that it ticked all the boxes, boost, modern geo, dropper, tubeless ready and great spec. Like any bike at this price range it has in house bars, stem, grips. It also came with Diamondback branded pedals that look like a decent composite grippy pedal.

The sticker price is $1800 Canadian ($1300 USD). The best part is because it’s at Sport Chek it often goes on sale. The sale price was $1400 Canadian. ($1k USD). I was surprised by the geometry and overall value of the bike.

Anyways here’s some photos of the bike, and I did a little bike check video.
