JEUDY Top 10 in Receptions, with 2:00 remaining.

I was honestly surprised here.

Of course we're all wondering about drops on the final 2:00; but I digress.

PLASTIC

I'd love to hear more about the head "split open" from a plastic beer bottle.

Y'all remember this?

You'd think the Refs would do their fuckin job afterwards? ...but NO

Why doesn't this happen more often?

Why can't the NFL have FULL Time Refs, and a public rating system for their performance?

Billionaires used to be Comic Book Fantasy, Bruce Wayne, Tony Stank, Scrooge McDuck. I always thought the Billions were the fantasy element; but it was the empathy/ altruism that was the reality stretch.

The PLAYERS of the NFL overwhelmingly want to play on grass. The data shows grass is safer. The BROWNS new field HAS to be grass regardless.

A fuckin poem, by me

Alienated

LunchTime LunchLine PunchCard aligned minds

Head down, nose brown, don't step out of line

Fated to be grated, to tired to know those related, relatives & relationships faded... parmagon shredded paragon... paradigms in perpetual perpetuated caged marathons.

March in cadence... Dirge through life's dance. Eschew chance, no will left free... No ownership, for the pleebs, just pleading pleas.

The Oligarchs sold the parks... Turned yachts for their continued calculated misappropriations & misdeeds.

Why plead? Why fight? Who are we to question unlimited financial might? Unmitigated blight, through ravenous urban expansion, just so long as the 1% have room to live on the highest hills in their ubiquitous sprawling mansions.

You? No pension... forgot to mention.

Trickle Down?

Forgive me...   belief suspension...

:with concern; regards from our future.

The Ai & Oligarchs vs humanity

So, did Clay forget we got a whole new Offensive Line; is this ranking based off anything tangible?

I feel like OUR BROWNS get thrown at the bottom of a list as a placeholder, or predetermined Washington Generals for kicks.

The Offensive Line should absolutely be capable of MID tier play, if not better; realistically.

Jeffrey Kessler: Exclusion of Brendan Sorsby from supplemental draft violates the CBA

With the NFL slamming the door on quarterback Brendan Sorsby’s application for the supplemental draft, Sorsby’s lawyer will fight the decision.

“It is a violation of the CBA and the law,” Jeffrey Kessler told Pete Thamel of ESPN. “We will pursue this immediately with the NFLPA.”

Sorsby isn’t a member of the NFL Players Association. However, the supplemental draft was created by collective bargaining. The NFLPA has standing to challenge the NFL’s decision to not conduct a supplemental draft — if it chooses to do so.

Sorsby has separate rights that could be pursued in court. Kessler has not yet said that he will be filing a lawsuit. It’s obviously one of the potential avenues for pursuing relief from the NFL’s decision to freeze Sorsby out until 2027

WHAT DO WE ACTUALLY KNOW ABOUT THIS 2027 QB CLASS?

Just a brief look at the 2027 QB Class.

I'm still excited & hopeful for LaNorris Sellers. I don't see him having a breakout season, but I don't care, because he needs NFL Coaching to actually develop. That said, his cost should remain fairly reasonable.

There's other guys I'm interested in, but I'll list them as a comment here.

Ultimately, if we secured Sorsby, he's not going to preclude us from bringing in another Quality Quarterback to compete; till the Starter is undeniable.

Ranking Every Cleveland Browns Team Since 1999

I felt like this was worth a watch/ listen, it's not as bad as you'd think; considering we've been in consistent disarray.

“AstroTurf Is the Worst”: Julian Edelman & Rob Gronkowski Slam Turfs As FIFA Forces NFL Stadiums To Install Grass

Gronk also chimed in to support the point.

“Grass absolutely dominates turf,” he added. “When you get tackled, and you land on grass, it’s so much more comfortable. You don’t get that turf burn on some nice grass, especially that Bermuda grass that Julian was talking about.”

former NFLPA president JC Tretter has advocated in favor of grass for years. As per a social media post by the players’ union last week, 92% (out of more than 1700 players) players preferred natural grass over artificial turf. The survey further revealed that artificial turf caused more non-contact injuries than natural grass.

As reported by ESPN and written by Tretter in a newsletter in 2020, there was a higher rate (28%) of “noncontact lower extremity injuries when playing on artificial turf as compared to grass.” And out of these, there was a 32% higher rate of knee injuries and 69% higher rate of ankle or foot injuries on artificial turf.

Tretter also highlighted the physics behind this in the past. When an athlete plants his foot and makes a sharp cut on a natural grass surface, the cleats dig in but eventually break free. This helps release the built-up kinetic energy easily and, ultimately, saves the players from injuries. But modern artificial turf acts differently.

Turf, reportedly, has “less give”. And during a pivot, the rotational torque builds up and the kinetic energy has nowhere to go. In the end, the knees and ankles absorb the force, increasing the risk of injuries. On top of that, there’s an increased risk of friction burns on turf, too.

“The temporary installation of natural grass fields for the World Cup is a choice by certain NFL team owners to do for soccer players what they refuse to do for NFL players,” the statement reportedly read. “It’s no longer a question of capability: the technology exists, the expertise exists and the resources exist to install the high-level grass fields that our players overwhelmingly prefer.

“We have seen the meaningful investments made to meet the standard for international athletes and global events. NFL players—who regularly compete on these fields, help fund these stadiums and whose work makes the league what it is today—deserve the same commitment to quality grass fields.”

Never Forget Jeff Triplette vs Orlando Brown

The fact that Jeff not only went on Refereeing; at a criminal level, afterwards, and still was screwing over OUR BROWNS with intent, and impunity shouldn't be lost on us.

People like to pretend that we get a fair playing field, but it's been like this for decades.

"TAKE SORSBY NOW SO YOU CAN DRAFT JEREMIAH SMITH LATER" - REACTING TO YOUR HOT TAKES

Simply, i feel like I am largely in alignment with Quincy here:

I feel like we could have, and should have got more for Myles, and it's not a knock on Verse.

I like Verse's game.

I wish he had a bit more muscle; relying so much on his Bull Rush.

Really, really hoping all the people presenting this as a Win, for the BROWNS, or a Win/Win even, are here as loud & proud as Verse continues his career. Regardless of the Sack Production, I'd like Verse to get a fair shake here.

One nice thing, is Verse's motor and attitude seem to be excellent.
