Another broken WK2 lift strut.

Hi, I have a 2013 grand Cherokee that I installed a OME 2.5” lift on a few years ago. Last year the strut snapped on the passenger side. Today driving home the driver side snapped on a speed bump.

First time I have messed with IFS. Are these OME struts junk? Was the top nut overtightened when the struts was assembled?

Was thinking of going to a dobinson strut. Would I be able to use the OME lift spring? Thinking yes.

The newer OME shock was installed to spec and is still fine.

Frustrated. Thanks for any thoughts.

Beekeeping in Georgia

Hi everyone! Here is a look at my current setup.

I’ve been in beekeeping for over 30 years and still love it as much as day one. I run a nomadic operation, towing my mobile bee wagons with my Land Cruiser 105 across different locations in Kakheti, Georgia—chasing good blooms and strong harvests wherever they are.

I love staying up to date, innovating, and educating others about our work. But after three decades, I can say it's getting tougher than ever, largely due to climate change. Looking forward to connecting with you all!
