Hey everyone! I’m a 29 year old female from the US who frequently posts on this sub. I’ve had some wonderful conversations with folks; however, I’m curious if anyone has had a similar experience when moving off of Reddit. Occasionally, if the conversation is flowing and vibes are high, I’ll be asked (or I will ask) if we want to move the conversation elsewhere (Discord, usually). Anytime I’ve done this, the conversation and connection immediately dies. I’m talking one word responses, hours between messages. I fully understand that life is busy and we don’t need to be glued to our phones, but I don’t understand how we can go from good conversation/response time to crickets. Anyone else experience this? Maybe I’m just asking too much (I am, I know)
