My job has us do goal setting. I'm trying to think of something that I could work on as a side project, so at the end of the year I could say I improved my leadership skills by accomplishing X, Y and Z

It seems like there is a growing sentiment on the left and right that we are at war with the wrong country
The left wants aggression towards isreal because of the genocide and the right because they don't want us involved in the first place

UPDATE!!! Poked a few holes in the wall.. the sill plate was not pressure treated and was absorbing alot of condensation and the stains were just leaching from wet wood
Shelters are full and everyone is surprised that dogs that are unwanted, are eventually euthanized
My wife and I do dog sport so we're deep in the dog training/breeding community in our area.
We know several ethical breeders but also MANY either not so ethical to straight up evil but also high levels of incompetence
Examples of each i see in new york .. a liberal state
Incompetence: somone I know who's bulldog and malinois "accidentally" got pregnant because she didn't want to get them fixed because they would lose their drive in dog sport. Nobody is adopting the puppies and now they're stuck with 6 dogs
Evil: Amish breeders kill puppies that don't get adopted and breeding pairs go through up to 10 litters before being thrown away
Slightly evil: doodle breeders that keep "inventing" new breeds.. they're temperament and behaviour is unpredictable and so is any genetic problems.. and they charge WAY too much for what essentially is a mutt

I've always been around large dogs. I have a Rottweiler that looks scary but would rather shit himself when cornered than bite me.

Alternatively if you stand your ground or a nice open palm smack a dog will probably fuck off. Pit bull i would would say you should shoot.

I see shit like this all the time and think we should do all we can to reduce the number of police interactions by repealing nanny laws, or at a minimum pausing them so that police have more time for training???. It will also take alot of pressure off of everyone in a high pressure economy.

Sure cops could be held accountable but that will never happen. Best alternateive is to give them less to do. Or have them prosecute real crime instead of hassling everyone over minor infractions.
