They never brought me luck, but they still make me smile today. 😄

Melanated Gen X appreciation - Morris Chestnut

From The Best Man to Watson, Morris Chestnut has brought characters to life in a way that made us think of a friend that he reminds us of or reflect on a way that we can grow (Not Easily Broken). I won't mention all the NFSW daydreams that he inspired... 😍

Let's give this brother his flowers now!

This song sticks out to me because it was one of the first remakes where the older generations weren't mad at younger people for stealing their music. Most people agreed that this was a fun take on the classic by Bill Withers.

What are your thoughts on the Supreme Court essentially striking down the Voting Rights Act?

Do you agree with the opinion of the court that says in layman's terms that problems of racial inequities of the past have been overcome and maps with majority minority districts are no longer needed? Or do you agree with the dissenting opinion that the opinion of the court does not uphold a statute set forth by Congress, who represent the people of the United States?

Are you concerned that this will lead to the reinstitution of things from the past like literacy tests, poll taxes, and grandfather clauses, or is that just crazy talk?

Geoff Duncan is a Republican turned Democrat running for the Democratic nomination for governor. His talking points sound good, but is he for real or a DINO?
