How much of an issue is theft from your estate sales?

I heard one of the regular shoppers at my local estate sales was caught stealing and subsequently banned. The estate sales companies here all know each other, so I assume every sales company also knows. I was at the company's sale recently and the workers kept following me around to ask if they could write up what I was holding. I was still shopping so I said not yet. They seemed quite annoyed and I felt like they thought I was going to stick small items in my pocket. They have also banned shopping bags, which is why I was holding items. I am sure theft is a problem, but now I don't want to go to their sales anymore. How do you all handle it?

Does anyone make a bathroom vent with a standard lightbulb anymore?

Looking for a replacement bathroom vent light combo and prefer on that uses a standard screw in bulb. They all seem to use a proprietary LED bulb now. Anyone still use the old fashion type bulb?

Is the pedestrian collision system too sensitive?

Yesterday a kid ran across the street in front of me while going about 25 mph. He saw me, I saw him. He was plenty quick enough that there was no danger, and I just maintained speed while covering the brake just in case. The 2026 RAV4 detected him and jammed on the brakes. Sure surprised the driver behind me. Luckily there was enough space, and he did not rear end me.

Why should I put a red hat on and cut this under hood wire? What will happen? 2026 RAV4

Found this interesting wire under the hood. Assume it's for the fire department to cut in some sort of emergency. Can't find it in the manual. Seems too small of a gauge to prevent any real battery current from flowing. Anybody have more information?

I really dislike the RAV4 multimedia system. It's going back.

I have had a 2026 RAV4 from our fleet for about a month. I really don't like the multimedia system. It wants me to download an app. Has too many nag screens when it starts up. Doesn't cache my satellite channels. Doesn't allow me to slightly rewind or fast forward through commercials. Switches from satellite to phone any time I open the phone to check something. This may seem like a minor thing, but I spend up to 5 hours a day alone in the vehicle and want to listen to what I want, when I want, with minimal commercial interruption.

The car drives great, except the safety system is a bit annoying and shuts off the cruise control if you let it make too many corrections. Love the MPG.

I tried it from our company fleet because we have an older family RAV4 and are looking to upgrade. I think I will wait. It's not all that I thought it was going to be.

I will return this to the fleet and get a different vehicle. It was nice to try though.

Does your new Mazda smell the same as most every other new car?

Family member just purchased a new 2026 Mazda CX-50. Premium with leather trimmed seats. The interior has a smell I just can't describe. It does not smell like the typical plastic or leather smell of any other new car I have looked at. Its not a bad smell, but its not pleasant either. Almost like something got wet inside, but not moldy. Dealer claims its normal. What do you think?

What is the value of 2 Seadoo Sparks and a trailer?

I have been offered a trade on 2 10 year old Sparks with a trailer. About 75 hours fresh water usage on each. At what price would this set up sell for quickly?

What do I need to check for on the Sparks to make sure they are in good condition?

2026 RAV4 satellite radio operation sucks. Or am I doing it wrong?

I am unable to control the fast forward and rewind playback of the satellite radio cache in the new RAV4. There is only 1 forward and one reverse button and it just takes you to the beginning or the end, or halfway to the beginning or end. There is no fine control to edit out the commercials. Also, after changing channels, it drops the cache altogether, and it only caches the program if it's tuned to that channel.

My Nissan lets me have total control and caches my favorite channels.

Am I missing something with the Toyota system? I read the manual and it seems this is the way it was designed. Poorly.

I am in the market for a 2026 Mazda CX-50 Hybrid. The factory has a $2500 incentive on these. I have emailed the dealer for their offer, and all I got back was Sticker price minus the factory rebate. What kind of additional discount should I expect on the dealer's end?
