I need help: distortion when recording engine sound

I'm trying to record my ATV exhaust. I can't get rid of the distortion at high RPM. I have the DJI mic 2 which litteraly the whole internet says it's the best thing on earth for this application lol

Maybe it's all marketing or my ATV is just too loud for it?

32 bit float, -12 db (lowest setting), noise reduction OFF, Clipping Control ON

Mic is mounted on my backpack with the wind deadcat

Here is a RAW audio sample :

Here is the edited version (Gain/Volume -12db, Compressor, Bass lowered alot and limiter -1db) :

I was thinking maybe putting the mic in my backpack or inside my pocket, but that would likely sound muffled?

Or maybe I'm just in a fantasy with my 120$ mic and I need very expensive equipment for this type of loudness?

Funny enough, it doesn't distorb with my phone, it's just too quiet and not crisp at all, here is a clip :

Thanks in advance for the help, and sorry for my bad english.
