UPS Ground Saver label, but USPS won't deliver because postage not paid?

Okay, so I purchased a UPS Ground Saver label through eBay to ship an item I sold. I dropped it off with UPS and they shipped it from my city to the destination city. They handed the package over to USPS at the destination city. But USPS is now saying "postage not paid" so they won't deliver the package. I called USPS customer support and they said they won't return the package back to me either. They're basically going to keep it/discard it. I told them I did pay postage when I purchased the label... it must have been paid or UPS wouldn't have accepted the package and shipped it across the country. The package weighed 1 lb. 10 oz. but UPS rounded it up to 2 lbs. so I didn't underpay for the weight. I called UPS and they said they can't do anything because the package is now in USPS hands. Am I screwed?

Is dark matter and dark energy everywhere in the universe?

If dark matter and dark energy make up 95% of the universe, I assume it's everywhere. But is it evenly distributed everywhere? I mean, is there any here on Earth or in our solar system? Or is dark matter and energy hard to study because there's none here? If dark matter only exists far away, then what explains that? Why is there none near us?

These are the random questions in my head when I have insomnia and can't fall asleep.
