Fixed my KPH40X

Fixed my KPH40X

The cable on my Mass KPH40X finally failed. I had bought this cable a while back for a different project but it was perfect for these. I don't get the hype on detachable cables on these so these just got soldered directly. Work perfectly and got this whole purple/green theme going on.

Blade of Agony help

I'm trying to play the game again (I tried it about two years ago and didn't finish it) but I cannot get it to work correctly. Really it's just one thing I cannot seem to set up correctly and was wondering if anyone could help me. There's an addon that adds 3 more weapons and when I activate it I can only use them if for example I run out of ammo on a default weapon and it goes to the add on one. I cannot use the scroll wheel to pick it or the number keys to use them, I know some weapons are bound to the same key just has to be pressed multiple times but I cannot get it to work. I downloaded the most recent version from ModDB

Any ideas how to fix it? I didn't know which sub to post this on but this one made the most sense to me.

Native Steam Input

I was recently replaying Portal with my shiny new Steam Controller 2 to try it out and I noticed that the Steam Input binds have names instead of the bind keys that I am so used to. So I did some digging and found out that Native Steam Input is a thing and it will actually show you the actual bind in game which I had never seen before!

After some more digging I couldn't find a list anywhere that listed all the games available that have this feature. So my question is: does anyone have a list of games that do this and why don't more developers use this?

40 hours to beat Hedon Bloodrite, what a journey!

Just finished this absolute gem of a game. Game was obtuse at times in the second half of the game but I never felt like it overstayed it's welcome. The story is not terrible and definitely had me invested in the end. The weapons were fun and the alternate fires were actually useful most of the time (apparently there is a whole alternate weapon set based on melee only that I may try in the future).

If you like exploring and finding keys and getting lost metroidvania style I highly recommend this game.

What did ya'll think of it? Did you beat it? Did you get lost and give up? Did you power through and figure it out?

Question about the new controller and emulators

I have had my controller for a couple weeks now and am loving it. I have been using it for everything and remembered that emulators would be awesome with it.

Now with RPCS3 specifically it actually detects the Steam Controller when you pick "SDL" and a quick google search shows that it means it supports it natively. But my question is how do I set it up? I can see the Steam Controller on the set up window but it just continues showing a DS4 for the bindings.

I know how to set it up by adding the emulator as a non steam game but then what does it mean that it supports it natively?

2 easy tricks for new SC2 owners

First of all welcome to our small (but growing!) group of Steam Controller users. I have been an SC1 user for a few years now and have learned a trick or two in getting the most use out of my controller. With the SC2 out now the same tricks apply so I'd figure I would make a post in case someone has issues getting some things going. This mostly applies to Windows users.

1st trick: Getting non-steam games working within Steam. Make sure your Steam app and game both have the same level of permission, if one has an elevated permission then the controller either won't work or won't register as a Steam controller.

2nd trick: Getting non steam game configs. If you have a game from a different store or ahem... sailed the high seas. You can easily find community configs by finding the game on Steam and naming your non-steam game as the game ID. That will make all relevant community configs available for said game. The ID can be found on the Steam Page of the game on top where the URL is.

Hopefully this will be useful to some people.
