I Think I Understand Shinji's Mindset Now

When first watching EOE, I thought it was out of Character for him to ask Asuka for help because he never did that in NGE. Now, after putting down my dog that I had for 10 years, I find myself depressed, losing interest in things I normally like, and even want some sort of interaction with someone even if it's someone I don't have a good history with. I understand Shinji is just desperately trying to find someone to help him through his depression. I would say Shinji is reaching out to Asuka because Asuka lost her mother, but I don't recall Shinji ever finding that out. Either way, I feel like I'm in his position of sadness and desperation.

Restraining myself from correcting someone when that person typed "can't" without an apostrophe.

Sad Lack of Recognition

The Harlem hellfighters were an African American division in WW1 that helped a lot in the western front. Sadly, when they got home, the American public didn't give them any concern.

Not Sure Where The Top Image is from

Technically, Asuka's and Shinji's daughter shouldn't exist after that. Bottom image from Idiocracy (2006)

In Seven, why don't Mills dogs attack John Doe?

I was watching Seven, during the scene where Somerset has dinner with Mills and his wife, I noticed Mills greeting his dogs when he arrives at his apartment. Why don't the dogs defend Tracy Mills when John Doe shows up at the apartment to kill her?
