Can I save this alocasia after having to remove the whole root system because of root rot??

My Alocasia dropped its newest leaf and the next one is dying too. Pulled it out of the pot and almost all the roots were rotten so I removed them all. The corm itself looks firm, no rot there.

Is there any hope for recovery with basically zero roots left? What’s my best next step (dry out first? fungicide? repot right away?).

PC has a problem, then boots for an hour then shuts off and won't POST — blank screen, cyclic power-on/off loop

Hey everyone, I'm dealing with a pretty strange issue that escalated quickly and I'm not sure where to start. I'll try to describe everything in order.

Yesterday afternoon the PC was working perfectly fine. When I turned it on in the evening, it booted normally and got to the Windows login screen but after a longer than usual loading time, it landed on a completely white screen. The taskbar and cursor kept flickering in and out, and while I could move the mouse I couldn't click on anything. I powered it off and tried again several times, with the same result each time. I also reseated the RAM, but that didn't help either.

At some point I went into the BIOS and noticed I had never updated it. I tried to do so, but I'm honestly not 100% sure the update actually completed successfully. When I exited the BIOS, Windows started trying to restore the local disk (C:), and then threw a message saying it couldn't load the OS. A few recovery/boot options appeared on screen. When I tried to shut down from there, I got a BSOD.

After that, I rebooted and the PC actually ran normally for about an hour, I was able to use it without any issues. Then it just shut itself off on its own, without any warning.

Right after that unexpected shutdown, the PC went into a boot loop powering on for a few seconds, shutting off, turning back on by itself, over and over until I held the power button to force it off. That only happened once though. Now when I try to turn it on, it stays on but nothing ever appears on the screen. The monitor gets no signal at all, and if I try to wake it manually all I get is a blank white screen.

Has anyone seen something like this before? Is there a good way to start diagnosing whether this is hardware or software? And should I try to recover the BIOS first before anything else? Any help is really appreciated.
