How many nibbles is too many nibbles

Pretty new bird owner. Did a lot of reading about GCC's when I fell in love with the GCC at the pet shop i work in. I love him and he's already settling in well. I know they explore with their mouths, they show affection and experiment with nibbles. i was prepared for this.

What i did not expect is the downright obsession with chewing on me. If my hand is in his cage and im not actively scratching his head, hes chewing on me. While out of the cage he crawls around on me and nibbles. As i type this very post, he is chewing my ear.

Occasionally he does it too hard and i will pull him away to dissuade him from doing so. I dont mind him being the nibbly conure he is, again, i expected it. But how much is a Weird amount??

Welcome home Jubilee

He sat and stared at me all night. When I realised he planned on just clinging to the wall so he could watch me I moved a perch to that spot so he'd be comfier, and that's where he ended up sleeping. Very quiet, only one big squawk and the occasional chirping. This morning he was chatty but still quietly chatty. I'm so happy he's here!

New conure coming home tomorrow- tips for the first nights?

Photo of him in store! I am an employee so was allowed to purchase him without immediately taking him home, because the cage doesnt come in until tomorrow morning. I've gotten scraps of info all over but wanted to check here.

My current plan is to just allow him to be in the cage that first night, not try to have him out at all. Just give him pellets and treats in his cage. I read that they can get spooked in the dark those first few days, so I'll probably leave a nightlight on and the cover off the cage? I'm not sure if that's sound advice. If there's one thing I know about this boy is he LOVES his scritchies so I think I'll offer him those in the cage?

Anyway, any advice or suggestions would be nice! I don't want to overwhelm him, so he has his absolute best chance at a comfortable transition home

An old eastern European man gave me an odd gift

I helped him work out our companies app (large chain petstore). Maybe in his 70s, thick accent, couldn't tell you exactly where. But it was just a really chill, polite experience, he thanked me for the help and left and I moved onto the next person.

Not 15 minutes later the man returned, setting something on my counter and saying "this is for helping me, thank you". Again so polite and kind. He's gone before I can look at it but I thank him.

I look down, and what do I find but a pack of pistachios and tiny bottle of orange flavored vodka. It was everything in my power to not double over laughing in front of the other customers. An old gentleman gave me pistachios and schnapps while I was at work.

Alligator lizard rescued from my cats

Pretty big fella. He was curled up on my living room surrounded by two of my cats. Luckily he was totally uninjured, although he did fear poop, I can't blame him for that. He ended up sitting on my chest for an hour while I watched TV, before he suddenly got active and tried to bolt. I grabbed him again and took him to my back yard where he seemed to really perk up in the sunlight, and let him go. Sort of wish I could have kept him, but I don't exactly have a huge terrarium on hand to keep him happy in. Ah well. It has made me really interested in maybe getting one someday!
