I feel my tire needs are pretty simple. My car pretty much is 90% city miles, 10% highway. I live in the Bay Area, CA so no snow or substantial rain typically, but I do take occasional trips to the mountains (I have yet to do so in this car) so I want something that is decent enough, especially because I don’t drive in snow often. I don’t want to over prioritize this beyond reasonable because it will likely make up less than 1% of the life of the tire but it’s also something I think is important.

I don’t want to say performance is unimportant to me but I am guessing that any tire that is 245/40R19 is going to be fairly focused on performance. I rarely push my car and I am rarely on roads even worthy of great tires. It’s more the contrary, pot holes and city problems are what my tires see.

I don’t know what else is relevant but I can update. Like noise isn’t something I think would matter much, assuming it’s a reasonably good tire, comfort wouldn’t matter for the same reasons.

My priorities would probably be cost, then just being a good quality all around tire, then wear, then snow, then everything else.

If you didn’t catch the tire size, this is for the factory 19’s (245/40R19).

So I make custom shoes and I wanted to do a 998. I typically prefer used shoes in good condition since I am redoing everything anyway and I don’t usually wear them a lot so to me its similar to recycling. I am not even picky about color.

Everything on eBay is like $75 used but I see new in that realm on other sites online. I am unfamiliar with fakes an New Balance, I definitely think some of what I have found at thrift stores are fake.

I am just seeing so many trashed pairs in the $100 range, it’s super frustrating knowing that they go for like $70 or so when Nordstrom Rack has them. If I can find them used, which I can’t locally, I am sure I can find them for like $20 if I just wait it out. I have bought many other 900 series shoes for that but these are elusive.

I am just looking preferably used but also new. My hesitation new is, again, I don’t know what is authentic with NB. I don’t have a color preference either, light colors are better, all black (suede) is worst, but I can adapt around many color combinations fairly well. I also prefer a suede toe box. I am just genuinely confused by the fact there are a lot of these but they are all expensive. I don’t see this with other brands to this level, it’s always a bit more expensive on eBay but never like this. I dont buy many shoes online since I can normally find them new or used locally, including New Balance but not this model.

I found some things that are Erikah Dorsey’s that are either lost or were stolen and dumped. I won’t describe because that person would know what it is but I would like to return what I found to it’s rightful owner. I didn’t check my app but I jumped from 6 likes (likes that I seemingly can’t swipe through) to 50+. I normally get a few likes per day. It’s not a new account nor did anything in my profile change. I am talking about for years. After I got below 50, it’s counting down like normal. I thought it was like a bug or something. This account is old and never gets more than like 10. On the contrary, I feel my account is throttled back as I instantly get likes right after I close the app when I got none during the day until then.

I found it odd as I am a man seeking women, sober, over 40, don’t want kids, etc.

I live in the Bay Area, CA where a lot of people wait to have kids but I am sort of shocked how many people list that they want kids well over 40. I am not looking to have kids but I also filter on other criteria (I am sober so not wanting to drink all the time is important and I get more hints from the profile than drinking preferences). Similarly, I am super willing to date people a certain distance one direction but the same distance another direction is a definite no for me and it is significantly more time consuming. I find that I spend so much time just filtering, and it isn’t something that premium would solve for. I swipe left on everyone who wants kids but I sometimes wonder if they are serious about it or not, and also if it is as non negotiable as I interpret it as. I feel like it’s way more than half the people who don’t already have kids and I don’t really know I want to date people who have kids either.

I am more curious about it than anything else.
