i've been reading about old tyrants (shoutout to andronikos I komnenos), and ezzelino III da Romano sounds fascinating, but i can't find much in the "blood and guts" department. i know he was deeply hated by those he ruled over, but I can't find much written about his misdeeds.

i would like to read more, regardless of its authenticity. i'm not having a lot of luck with google. according to wikipedia, the chronicles of Salimbene de Adam has a couple pages that cover it, but my Latin isn't too great.

can anyone tell me more about his reign? his cruelty in particular?

i was curious what the differences are.

for instance, "trout mask replica" and everything before it was released by "captain beefheart & his magic band" but the follow up "decals" was credited to "captain beefheart & THE magic band"

was there any beef on this or was it just careless labelling? i know the captain was hard to work with, and could be egotistical, which makes me wonder if he had insisted on "HIS" for "trout" and it upset the band, forcing the change.

by "mirror man" they were "HIS" magic band again, lol. then later records like "doc" and "crow" are credited to THE band.

can anybody break this down?

we've been calling her Mittens. my fiancee came up with the name, I woulda went with Dobbins

anyway, this stray girl cat has been coming around for about a month now, every day or every other day. I already have 2 cats, or I would absolutely just try to let her inside. I don't know if she's feral or not, but I have a theory that her mother or father was dumped here... the city's sewer system flows along 86th and I believe a bunch of feral cats and raccoons live in the pipes.

she got in a fight recently and got a big patch of fur ripped out of her back. she still hisses at me when I feed her, but its changed to a more sing-song meow as of late. she's not aggressive, she's just really scared. she's a tuxedo female, and I'm 90% certain she's given birth last year. I don't think her odds are too good if Owasso Animal Control picks her up, so I thought maybe I'd try here

if you have any ideas or wanna help let me know. I know you can't save em all but it's worth a shot. if y'all can put me into contact with any animal welfare orgs that might catch and release her that's fine too!
