Hello all!

Recently got a good deal on some WWI helmet shells and thought I’d share them here.

Two of the helmets have markings from Thomas Firth & Sons while one has no stamps but appears to have Spanish written on the inside brim, which is pretty interesting.

I’m also wondering what the story is with the blue paint on the first one. Only time I’ve seen blue Brodie helmets is when worn for RAF service.

Any clue what else it could be?

Lindberg 1:35 BMP-1U Diorama

Hello all!

Been awhile since I’ve posted, but wanted to share my recent adventure into 1:35 scale.

Haven’t built any 1:35 scale kits yet, but I came across this Lindberg 1:35 BMP-1U on eBay for a good price and had some inspiration for a diorama set during the Soviet-Afghan War after watching a few movies on the subject.

I’m calling the BMP done for now, next onto the diorama base and then the ICM tank crew.

Gotta say it already looks pretty good in my front yard 😂
